IP: UNABLE TO SEND BROADCAST MSG OVER X.25
Event 12 TCP–IP GATEWAY EVENT
Description: An upper layer attempted to send a broadcast message through a DDN
or generic X.25 layer. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
IP: UNRECOG SUBNET TYPE
Description: IP found a SUBNET configuration of an unrecognized TYPE. The TCP–
IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
IP: UNRECOGNIZED CONFIG ITEM
Description: IP was called for initialization and the configuration item passed was
not recognized. This error indicates a software failure on the part of the initialization
module. This is not a serious condition. The TCP–IP Stack program product
generates this CENLOG.
IP: UNRECOGNIZED OPTION RECEIVED
Description: IP received an IP option that was not implemented. Another host with
TCP–IP could be having problems. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this
CENLOG.
IP: UNSOLICITED PING REPLY
Description: TCP–IP Stack received an unexpected message or too much time
elapsed before receiving an expected message. This error is normally recoverable.
The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
Action: Increase the amount of time specified by the TIMEOUT parameter in the
NMS command TCP PING. If the condition persists, contact your support center.
IP: UNSUPPORTED OPTION RECEIVED
Description: The security stream ID and timestamp options are not supported at this
time. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
IP: X.25 NETWORK CONNECTIONS DOWN (R8, R9)
Description: PSCS informed IP that the link is not available for data. The TCP–IP
Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
