XFER n-dcpname ERROR–DCP FILE IN USE
NMS and DSA Messages
Description: The file cannot be transferred because the specified DCP file is in use.
Action: Reenter the command when the file is free. (Enter the STAT command to
determine the status of the file.)
XFER n-dcpname ERROR–DCP FILE NOT CATALOGED
Description: The file cannot be transferred because the specified DCP file is not
cataloged.
Action: Catalog the DCP file and reenter the XFER command.
XFER n-dcpname ERROR–DCP FILE READ ONLY
Description: The file cannot be transferred because the specified DCP file cannot be
written to.
XFER n-dcpname ERROR–DCP MASS STORAGE ERROR
Description: The file cannot be transferred because of a DCP mass storage error.
XFER n-dcpname ERROR–DCP VOLUME NOT AVAILABLE
Description: The file cannot be transferred because the requested DCP volume is too
small.
XFER n-dcpname ERROR–ELEMENT NAME NOT INPUT
Description: This transfer (using the XFER command) requires an element name.
Action: Enter the element name.
XFER n-dcpname ERROR–FILE NAME ERROR
Description: An incorrect filename has been entered.
Action: Enter the correct filename.
