Event 3 EVENT/ERROR DETECTED AT L3 (NETWORK)<br />

SNA: 809 - max piu too small, SA=%%%% size=&&&<br />

Description: This message occurs as a result of errors or events in ERVR. The<br />

possible causes are a configuration error or a software problem. The subarea sending<br />

the invalid PIU size is included for reference. The % represents a hexadecimal number<br />

and the & represents a decimal number.<br />

SNA: 811 - er send error, invalid tg number<br />

Description: This message occurs as a result of errors in Path Control (ERVR), the<br />

network routing portion of SNA/net. The probable cause is a software problem.<br />

X.25 Clear by <strong>DCP</strong>–Cause, Diagnostic=hhh,hhhh<br />

Description: The Common Network Management Service (CNMS) X.25 interface<br />

module in PDNSVS received an alarm notification. (CNMS does not need to be<br />

operating for this CENLOG to be enabled.) The layer 3 module sent a Clear packet to<br />

the network for a particular virtual circuit. This event includes the LINE name and<br />

could include the DTE statement name or address information.<br />

R10: Packet’s cause code. See Appendix C of this manual for a description of the<br />

cause code<br />

R11: Packet’s diagnostic code. See Appendix A of this manual for a description of<br />

the diagnostic code<br />

Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, Line event, Device event, (if the<br />

clear [reset] packet is associated with a configured DTE statement and CNMS is not<br />

active), can include CNMS interface packet. The X.25 PSCS program product<br />

generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNSVS.<br />
