Event 1 DISCARDED MESSAGE (LOST MESSAGE)
Supplementary Messages for Class 10, Event 01
DUC
Description: DUC discarded the message for one of the following reasons:
• Received data while IM pending (IM PENDING)
• Received invalid NDU sequence number (SEQ NUMBER INVALID)
• Time-out on a reassembling PDU (MESSAGE LOST, REMAINING PDU
DISCARDED)
• Timeout on a reassembling PDU (MESSAGE CONSIDERED LOST)
• Invalid DUC command received (INVALID MESSAGE)
• Duplicate NDU found (DUPLICATE MESSAGE)
• Received invalid SN$ entry number (INVALID N/C ID RECEIVED) R12=SN$

Telcon generates this CENLOG.
DUPLICATE MESSAGE
Description: The DUC has received a duplicate NDU from the network. This
message will be discarded. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
Action: None.
FRAME NOT SENT
Description: The Common Network Management Service (CNMS) X.25 interface
module in PDNSVS received a discarded message notification. The reason is the port
processor was unable to successfully send the frame to the network. This event
includes the LINE name.

R10: PDNGRP STE index
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, Line event. The X.25 PSCS
program product generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNSVS.
INVALID MESSAGE
Description: DUC received an invalid data message. The DUC header is invalid.
Telcon generates this CENLOG.
Action: The long format shows the discarded message.
