Event 15 CONFIGURATION ERROR DETECTED / UNDEFINED
X.25: Unassigned LCN, R9 = lcn
Description: The layer 3 module (PDNL3) was unable to successfully process a
packet received from the network or directly attached DTE. The packet was received
on a logical channel number that is outside the range of configured logical channel
ranges. This event includes the line name.
R9: Received packet’s logical channel number
Attributes affected: Line event, Configuration error event, Error event,
Supplementary text message. The X.25 PSCS program product generates this
CENLOG.
Action: Review the PDNGRP statement’s logical channel ranges specified on the
VCGRP parameter. Procedure: PDNL3.
X.25: Virtual Circuit Assignments
Description: The layer 3 module (PDNL3) was unable to successfully process a
packet received from the network or directly attached DTE. The packet was received
on a logical channel number of zero (and not configured to be by specifying the
X25DEF statement’s L3OPT parameter value 3), or an invalid packet was received on
a configured permanent virtual circuit (PVC). This event includes the line name.
R8: Received packet’s logical channel number
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message. The X.25 PSCS program product
generates this CENLOG.
Action: Review the PDNGRP statement’s logical channel ranges specified on the
VCGRP parameter. Procedure: PDNL3.
X.29 SIGNON FAILED: NO TERMINAL CONFIGURED
Description: The X.29 Terminal initialization module (PDNURS) was unable to
successfully process a $$SON command from a terminal connected through an X.29
PAD interface. The reason is because the TERM statement with which it is associated
does not reference a valid PDNPAD statement. The supplementary text message is
logged with this event.
Attributes affected: Configuration event. The X.25 PSCS program product
generates this CENLOG.
Action: Review X.25 PSCS’s NDSs (configuration statements). Verify all the TERM
statements for X.29 PAD terminals reference valid PDNPAD statements. Procedure:
PDNURS.
