Event 12 TCP–IP GATEWAY EVENT
TCP 4005 NO FOREIGN SOCKET SPECIFIED
Description: The ULP failed to provide the foreign socket (destination) address to
which the connection is to be made. The transmission control protocol module for
the TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.
TCP 4006 SECURITY/PRECEDENCE VIOLATION
Description: A security or precedence conflict occurred during connection
establishment. The transmission control protocol module for the TCP–IP Stack
program product generates this CENLOG.
TCP 4007 NETWORK FAILURE
Description: Attempt to route a message failed because of a gateway failure, or
because there is no network connection to the destination. Check with your network

TCP 4008 SERVICE FAILURE
Description: The ULP service request primitive type passed by a ULP is unknown to

Description: The local end user terminal or application closed or aborted the TCP

Description: The peer TCP requested the connection to be aborted. The
