SNMP <strong>Message</strong>s<br />

SNAUIA0 (072): Verify_msg: Input PIU not of Type 4<br />

Event 11 ILM EVENT<br />

Description: The SNA User Interface application received a message with an invalid<br />

format header.<br />

SNAUIA0 (073): Verify_msg: Input PIU Length Error<br />

Description: The SNA User Interface application received a message with an invalid<br />

length specification.<br />

Note: All SNMP CENLOG messages include a name in parentheses at the end of<br />

the message. This name is the name of the internal routine which produced<br />

the CENLOG. The exact message, including this name must be included<br />

with any report of a problem.<br />

SNMP 101 Alt response PDU is too big<br />

Description: An error response PDU was built to be sent to the SNMP management<br />

station, but the PDU was too big to fit in the output buffer. The response is discarded.<br />

Action: Single occurrences can be ignored. If this error occurs repeatedly, dump the<br />

ILM to determine the cause of the problem.<br />

Note: Some SNMP CENLOG messages have variable parts that may vary each<br />

time the CENLOG is generated.<br />

SNMP 102 ASN.1 construct not supported: ssssssss<br />

Description: The SNMP Agent encountered an ASN.1 construct in a PDU from a<br />

management station that it does not support. The message is discarded.<br />

Variable: ssssssss The type of ASN.1 construct that is not supported.<br />

Action: Single occurrences can be ignored. An SNMP trace with TYPE=M can be<br />

used to capture the offending management PDU.<br />
