Event 12 LINE/TERMINAL STATISTICS
LINE–TERMINAL STATISTICS
Event 12 LINE/TERMINAL STATISTICS
Description: With the NMS SETI command, statistics on a line or line/terminal basis
can be collected. This event is not displayed at the NMS console and requires a log
reduction program for analysis. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
Action: None.
All LPH modules, FCONTROL, and HCC
Description: Line/terminal statistics (message I/O counts). This CENLOG does not
display on the console (unless the LOGI command is used). One CENL entry is made
for each port that has had at least one I/O message since the last CENL entry. The
STATS parameter on the PRCSR statement controls whether these statistics should be
gathered, and if so, how detailed and how often. The detail can include statistics for
each active terminal per line. The configured time interval length (that is, frequency
of this CENLOG) can range from 5 minutes to 12 hours, and defaults to 10 minutes.
The default configuration specifies that no line/terminal statistics are to be gathered.
The NMS SETI command can override the configuration. Data included in this
CENLOG are: input message count, output message count, input character count,
output character count, PPID, line/terminal name, and LPH type for each
line/terminal. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
STATDCR
Description: Line/terminal statistics (MESSAGE I/O COUNT AND SIZE). Telcon
generates this CENLOG.
