*** ERROR: ADDRESS OUT OF BOUNDS ***
NMS and DSA Messages
Description: The address parameter value in the command statement is too large.
Action: Verify the address, and reenter the command. If the problem persists, get
assistance from a local Unisys systems analyst.
*** ERROR: ALIGN VALUE INVALID ***
Description: The CAT command ALGN parameter argument must be C or the
statement unspecified.
Action: Verify the ALGN parameter.
*** ERROR: ATTEMPTING TO MOVE TO A SWITCHED LINE ***
Description: The station facility move was requested. The TO parent is a switched
line. The facility move was aborted.
Action: Verify the TO port number, and reenter the MOVE command.
*** ERROR: AUTHORITY VIOLATION ***
Description: The console does not have enough authority to perform the command.
Action: Verify the authority limit of the NMS console, and enter the IDEN command
if higher authority is required.
*** ERROR: BLOCK OUT OF FILE ***
Description: An INSP or CHNG command block argument is too large.
Action: Verify the block number of the file, and reenter the command.
*** ERROR: CANNOT MOVE TO A RESTRICTED PORT ***
Description: The TO port is the restricted port used by mass storage, parallel
UNISCOPE, integrated flexible diskette controller, or host channel.
Action: Verify the TO port number, and reenter the MOVE command.
