OPEN/CLOSE ERROR REPORTED FROM FILE MANAGER
Description: An open or close mass storage file request (either from an operator at a
system console or from a procedure) was not completed due to an error. Telcon
generates this CENLOG.
Action: If you made the request from a system console, check for an illegal file name,
unknown file name, unknown volume name, or unknown device type. Correct and
retry as necessary. If the request was from a procedure, the procedure must handle
the error. If the error continues or is not handled correctly, take a system dump of the
Telcon node when the error is displayed. Give it to the appropriate Unisys
representative.
