Event 3 EVENT/ERROR DETECTED AT L3 (NETWORK)
X.25: L4 Call Request Cleared, R11=reason
Description: The layer 3 module (PDNL3) was unable to successfully process a Call
Request primitive received across the Layer 3/4 Platform interface. Instead of sending
a call request packet to the network, PDNL3 returned a Clear Indication primitive to
the layer 4 module.
R11: Clear primitive’s diagnostic code. For a description of the codes, refer to
Appendix A of this manual.
R12–R15: May contain the called DTE address digits
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message. The X.25 PSCS program product
generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNL3.
X.25 Link Area Full
Description: The PDNL3 module was unable to save a data message for later
transmission to the network or layer 4 for a particular virtual circuit. No link area
indexes were available. PDNL3 clears the virtual circuit.
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message. The X.25 PSCS program product
generates this CENLOG. Procedure: PDNL3.
X.25 Network Layer Event
Description: The Common Network Management Service (CNMS) X.25 interface
module in PDNSVS received an alarm notification. (CNMS does not need to be in
operating for this CENLOG to be enabled.) The reason code is passed and displayed
by register R12. This event includes the LINE name, and could include the DTE
statement name or address information.
R8: PDNGRP STE index
R9: May contain the logical channel number
R10: May contain a packet’s cause code. See Appendix C of this manual for a
description of the cause code.
R11: May contain a packet’s diagnostic code. See Appendix A of this manual for a
description of the diagnostic code.
R12: CNMS alarm code
Attributes affected: Supplementary text message, Line event, may include CNMS
interface packet. The X.25 PSCS program product generates this CENLOG.
Procedure: PDNSVS.
X.25 - PCALL Trace File Error - No Space
Description: The NMS TRAC SNAP=X25 command was used to enable tracing during
establishment of a virtual circuit. An error occurred while cataloging the trace file
used by the PDNCALL module.
