Event 3 EVENT/ERROR DETECTED AT L3 (NETWORK)
TROUBLE LINK DETECTED–TRUNK: trunkname
Description: Node not allowed to establish neighbor communications over the
named trunk, because neighbor communications have been disrupted too often in the
past few minutes. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
The CENLOG registers contain the network address of the node in the following
manner:
R8: Node number
R9: Simple cluster number
R10: Super cluster number
R11: Subdomain number
Action: Determine and correct the causes of the disruptions (for example, links going
up and down and rebooting nodes).
TRUNK Overflow Condition Detected–TRUNK: trunkname

Description: The subnetwork the named trunk is using is saturated. This occurs
because the capacity of the subnetwork is insufficient for the amount of data being
routed through it. You may experience delay-induced timeouts and resets of
connections whose data traverses this trunk. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
Action: The system administrator must re-engineer the subnetwork the trunk is using
to accommodate the amount of data being routed through it, or readjust the network
topology and routing to reduce the amount of data traversing the trunk.
Description: Received ADD QCT INDEX TO QUEUE LIST command from
SYSTSTRK after the system initialization process completed. The ADD QCT INDEX
command should have been sent during system initialization, not after. The command
was processed. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
UNCONFIGURED NEIGHBOR REJECTED–TRUNK: trunkname
Description: Node not allowed to establish neighbor communication over the named
trunk because of the trunk’s boundary restrictions. Telcon generates this CENLOG.
The CENLOG registers contain the network address of the node as follows:
R8: Node number
R9: Simple cluster number
R10: Super cluster number
R11: Subdomain number
Action: To establish neighbor communications with the node over the trunk, add a
BOUNDARY parameter in the TRUNK configuration statement.
