Event 12 TCP–IP GATEWAY EVENT<br />

Description: An error was detected in the interface to ENS IP Router. This condition<br />

is normally recoverable. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: If this condition persists, contact your support center.<br />

IP: EXTERNAL INTERFACE ERROR<br />

Description: IP has detected an error in data received from a non-TCP–IP Stack<br />

component. This may be another program product (e.g. PSCS), a <strong>Telcon</strong> component<br />

(e.g. HLEMAN), or an external program (e.g. ICS). R13 indicates the location in IP<br />

where the error was detected. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this<br />

CENLOG.<br />

IP: FRAGMENT REASSEMBLY ERROR, SRC ADR = !<br />

Description: IP detected an internal error. This may indicate a serious software<br />

fault. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.<br />

IP: FRAGMENT REASSEMBLY NOT TIMED<br />

Description: An acute resource shortage forced IP to abandon timing fragment<br />

reassembly. This is not a serious problem if the message eventually does get<br />

assembled. Until it does, the incomplete message occupies buffer and link-area space.<br />

The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.<br />

IP: HOST CHANNEL NOT FOUND, INPUT LOST<br />

Description: IP received a message for which no corresponding SUBNET<br />

configuration exists. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.<br />

IP: HOST CHANNEL SUBNETS SHOULD SPECIFY CHANNELS<br />

Description: IP found a SUBNET configuration of TYPE=IPCHAN, which does not<br />

reference a CHANNEL. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this CENLOG.<br />

IP: ICMP ECHO REPLY ID CORRUPTED<br />

Description: ICMP stores identifying information in echo requests. The returning<br />

echo reply held no recognizable identifying information. This echo reply was either<br />

unsolicited or corrupted in transit. The TCP–IP Stack program product generates this<br />
