ABNORMAL LINE TERMINATION FUNCTION<br />

Description: The line has been either brought down, reinitialized, terminated due to<br />

error conditions, or a state item has been posted unexpectedly. <strong>Telcon</strong> generates this<br />

CENLOG.<br />

Action: If this CENLOG display was generated as a result of previous NMS<br />

operations, it is informational only. Check and correct the hardware condition of the<br />

line.<br />

BSC LPH<br />

Description: Generated when the maximum retry count is exceeded for recoverable<br />

line errors.<br />

R8: Contains the flag word for the LPH. The meaning of each bit is in the<br />

AAHARDEF assembly.<br />

R11: Contains the LCB address<br />

R12: Contains the TCB address<br />

R14: Contains the IOP ID<br />

R15: Contains a code indicating the type of line error, as follows:<br />

0 Incorrect response to a line bid.<br />

1 The ACK response block count is incorrect.<br />

2 A NAK was received to an output text.<br />

3 A bad ACK block count was sent to the terminal, or text was distorted on<br />

the line.<br />

4 Bad input was received from the terminal.<br />

5 No response condition.<br />

011 Handler unable to queue an ack.<br />
