INVALID N/C ID RECEIVED<br />

Event 1 DISCARDED MESSAGE (LOST MESSAGE)<br />

Description: DUC received an invalid network connection (N/C) ID number.<br />

Without a valid ID number, DUC cannot find the proper table entry, and has to discard<br />

the message. <strong>Telcon</strong> generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: Register 15 of the long format has an invalid ID number.<br />

MESSAGE CONSIDERED LOST<br />

Description: After waiting for ten seconds, the expected NDU was not received and<br />

DUC now discards it. <strong>Telcon</strong> generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: This usually indicates a problem with the physical lines. Check all trunk<br />

lines to ensure that they are functioning properly. The long format will display the<br />

session entry.<br />

MSG LOST. REMAINING PDU DISCARDED<br />

Description: Same as the previous message except the lost NDU was not a complete<br />

PDU. The rest of the PDU is discarded. The long format displays the session entry.<br />

<strong>Telcon</strong> generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: None.<br />

NO PRC TO PRC SESSION/TRUNKS CONFIGURED<br />

Description: This CENLOG refers to an error in Route Control where it receives a<br />

message to be processed, but its tables have not been built. The tables have not been<br />

built because the configuration does not contain any <strong>DCP</strong>-to-<strong>DCP</strong> SESSN statement<br />

for this processor, or the configuration does not contain any TRUNK statements for<br />

this processor. Both statements are required for Route Control to work. The system<br />

discards this message. <strong>Telcon</strong> generates this CENLOG.<br />

Action: Add SESSN and/or TRUNK statements to the configuration.<br />

Description: UDLC received a control message that was not a valid entry and the<br />

message is being discarded. <strong>Telcon</strong> generates this CENLOG.<br />

Description: A data message was received with an invalid routing header. <strong>Telcon</strong><br />

generates this CENLOG.<br />
