Different configuration file formats, such as a Hexidecimal(.hex) or Tabular Text File (.ttf) format, will have different file sizes.However, for any specific version of the Quartus ® II or MAX+PLUS ® IIsoftware, all designs targeted for the same device will have the sameconfiguration file size.The following sections describe in detail how to configure APEX 20KEand APEX 20KC devices using the supported configuration schemes. TheDevice Configuration Pins section describes the device configuration pinsavailable.
