The JTAG usercode is an extension of theoption register. This data canbe read with the JTAGUSERCODE instruction.Modified Configuration(Option On)The Quartus II softwaregenerates compressedprogramming files andStratix II and Cyclone seriesFPGAs decompress thebitstream duringconfiguration.Uses the checksum valuefrom the SRAM Object File(.sof) as the JTAG user code.If this option is on, the JTAGuser code option is dimmedto indicate that it is notavailable.After enhanced configuration and EPC2 device programming you canchoose to automatically configure the targeted FPGAs on board. This canbe done by selecting the Initiate Configuration After Programmingoption under the Programmer section of the Options window (Toolsmenu).
