Cross Trigger13.3 Cortex-A15 CTIIn the Cortex-A15 MPCore processor, CTI operates in the PCLKDBG domain andsynchronizes the trigger inputs and outputs to PCLKDBG where required. Handshaking isrequired for all trigger outputs. Because the simplified CTM is implemented in the same clockdomain, synchronization and handshaking is not required for channel interface. In addition,APB synchronization is not required. All the trigger inputs are masked by internal NIDEN.Only the trigger output signals EDBGRQ, CTIIRQ and DBGRESTART are masked byinternal DBGEN.ARM DDI 0438I Copyright © 2011-2013 ARM. Cross Trigger13.4 Cortex-A15 CTMThe CoreSight CTI channel signals from all the processors are combined using a simplifiedCross Trigger Matrix (CTM) block so that a single cross trigger channel interface is presentedin the Cortex-A15 processor. This module can combine up to four internal channel interfacescorresponding to each processor along with one external channel interface.In the simplified CTM, external channel output is driven by the OR output of all internal channeloutputs. Each internal channel input is driven by the OR output of internal channel outputs ofall other CTIs in addition to the external channel input. The internal channel acknowledgementsignals from the CTIs are not used because all the CTIs and the CTM are in the samePCLKDBG domain.ARM DDI 0438I Copyright © 2011-2013 ARM.
