Resumo<br />

O projecto educativo “Ler mais é saber mais”, nos últimos três anos lectivos, t<strong>em</strong> <strong>de</strong>corri<strong>do</strong> numa<br />

pequena escola rural <strong>do</strong> 1.º Ciclo <strong>do</strong> Agrupamento <strong>de</strong> Escolas <strong>de</strong> Vagos, no distrito <strong>de</strong> Aveiro. A sala <strong>de</strong><br />

aula possui algum equipamento tecnológico, nomeadamente, três computa<strong>do</strong>res liga<strong>do</strong>s à internet,<br />

projector <strong>de</strong> ví<strong>de</strong>o, colunas <strong>de</strong> som <strong>de</strong> alta-fi<strong>de</strong>lida<strong>de</strong> e o professor utiliza uma pequena câmara<br />

fotográfica com grava<strong>do</strong>r ví<strong>de</strong>o incorpora<strong>do</strong>.<br />

Com recurso a textos selecciona<strong>do</strong>s <strong>do</strong> livro <strong>de</strong> <strong>leitura</strong>, da biblioteca escolar ou redigi<strong>do</strong>s pelos alunos, é<br />

preparada a <strong>leitura</strong> e feito o respectivo registo ví<strong>de</strong>o: cada aluno lê e relê o seu texto frente à câmara <strong>de</strong><br />

filmar. A partir da gravação ví<strong>de</strong>o <strong>do</strong>s textos li<strong>do</strong>s pelas crianças, <strong>em</strong> casa, o <strong>do</strong>cente faz a montag<strong>em</strong> <strong>do</strong><br />

ví<strong>de</strong>o <strong>em</strong> MovieMaker. Na sala <strong>de</strong> aula, durante a gravação e projecção <strong>do</strong>s ví<strong>de</strong>os, é feita a crítica à<br />

<strong>leitura</strong> e postura <strong>do</strong> aluno/leitor, numa espécie <strong>de</strong> autoscopia.<br />

As meto<strong>do</strong>logias <strong>de</strong> ensino utilizadas, não só têm motiva<strong>do</strong> os alunos para a <strong>leitura</strong>, mas também têm<br />

contribuí<strong>do</strong> para a introdução das novas tecnologias da comunicação e informação no ensino e<br />

aprendizag<strong>em</strong>. O projecto experimental, <strong>de</strong>senvolvi<strong>do</strong> num certo ambiente tecnológico, t<strong>em</strong> da<strong>do</strong> senti<strong>do</strong><br />

utilitário à <strong>leitura</strong>, t<strong>em</strong> proporciona<strong>do</strong> a crítica face aos media (televisão, internet e outros) e, finalmente,<br />

t<strong>em</strong> aprofunda<strong>do</strong> nos alunos o gosto pela <strong>leitura</strong>.<br />

Abstract<br />

The educational project “Ler mais é saber mais”, in the last three scholastic years has run in small<br />

primary rural schools in Vagos, Aveiro. The classroom possesses some technological equipment mainly<br />

three computers connected to the Internet, a vi<strong>de</strong>o projector, a hi-fi sound column, and a small photo<br />

camera equipped with a vi<strong>de</strong>o recor<strong>de</strong>r, provi<strong>de</strong>d by the professor.<br />

With features selected from texts in the reading books taken from either the school library or provi<strong>de</strong>d by<br />

the stu<strong>de</strong>nts, a reading is prepared and the respective vi<strong>de</strong>o recording is <strong>do</strong>ne: each stu<strong>de</strong>nt reads and<br />

rereads the text in front of the recording vi<strong>de</strong>o camera. After this vi<strong>de</strong>o recording has been completed, the<br />

professor during his leisure time ass<strong>em</strong>bles all the vi<strong>de</strong>os into one continuous vi<strong>de</strong>o using software<br />

called, MovieMaker. In the classroom during the recording and projecting of the vi<strong>de</strong>os, critiques are<br />

ma<strong>de</strong> on each individual stu<strong>de</strong>nt’s reading and posture during his/her “clip”, in a sort of self-evaluation<br />

(autoscopy).<br />

The methods of work utilized not only have motivated the stu<strong>de</strong>nts toward reading but also has<br />

contributed toward the introduction of new communication and information technologies into the teaching<br />

and learning processes. The experimental project, run in a certain technologic ambient, has given a<br />

sense of utility to reading, proportioned critiques on various media platforms (Internet, television, among<br />

others), and given a <strong>de</strong>eper appreciation of reading and literature to the stu<strong>de</strong>nts.<br />
