Resumo<br />

Os livros <strong>de</strong> histórias e a mat<strong>em</strong>ática é o nome <strong>de</strong> um projecto que t<strong>em</strong> vin<strong>do</strong> a ser <strong>de</strong>senvolvi<strong>do</strong><br />

por um grupo <strong>de</strong> professores da ESE <strong>de</strong> Lisboa com alguns professores <strong>do</strong> 1º ciclo. Os<br />

objectivos <strong>do</strong> projecto aliam o estu<strong>do</strong> <strong>de</strong>sta t<strong>em</strong>ática, aprofundan<strong>do</strong> o conhecimento das histórias<br />

e <strong>do</strong>s mo<strong>de</strong>los mat<strong>em</strong>áticos usa<strong>do</strong>s pelos seus autores, e a realização <strong>de</strong> experiências <strong>de</strong> sala<br />

<strong>de</strong> aula. Nesta fase <strong>do</strong> projecto, elaborámos uma matriz <strong>de</strong> análise das histórias que nos ajuda a<br />

evi<strong>de</strong>nciar o mo<strong>de</strong>lo mat<strong>em</strong>ático presente na história ou na ilustração e a forma como os autores<br />

o aproveitam ou <strong>de</strong>senvolv<strong>em</strong>.<br />

Abstract<br />

Children’s books and math<strong>em</strong>atics is a project which has been <strong>de</strong>veloping for a group of teachers<br />

from Escola Superior <strong>de</strong> Educação of Lisbon and some primary teachers. This project ties a bond<br />

between this th<strong>em</strong>atic, realizing a better perception of stories and math<strong>em</strong>atic mo<strong>de</strong>ls used by<br />

their authors, and the practice in classroom. At this point we have a matrix that helps us to<br />

un<strong>de</strong>rstand which math<strong>em</strong>atic mo<strong>de</strong>ls are presented in stories or in stories pictures and the way<br />

like their authors had <strong>de</strong>veloped th<strong>em</strong>.<br />
