This course helps students understand their gaps and weaknesses in English and points out
ways and strategies of how to work on and overcome them. Emphasis is put on vocabulary
acquisition and grammar structures.

This integrated skills-course familiarizes the students with exam techniques which are required
for the English C1 exam. It relies heavily on class participation and motivated selfstudy.Students
need to have passed GLP2 successfully or scored 75 points or more in the C-
Test top be able to register. Alternatively, if you have spent a longer time abroad in an Englishspeaking
country, you might qualify, too and should talk to the course instructor before
enrolling.
