Nellie Frances <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

The Register, Danville, Va Wed. 1-11-78 Yanceyville, N.C. - Nettie Frances <strong>Gunn</strong>, 57, of<br />

Blanch Rt. 1, died Tuesday at noon in The Memorial Hospital of Danville, Va., after a two<br />

week illness. Born in Caswell County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. <strong>Gunn</strong> and<br />

Effie Lenora Page <strong>Gunn</strong>. She attended <strong>New</strong> Hope United Methodist Church and was a<br />

member of the <strong>New</strong> Hope United Methodist Church Women"s Club. She is survived by two<br />

sisters, Mrs. L. O. Daniels, Blanch, and Mrs. Roy Jones, Pelham; and four brothers, Allen<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, Willie <strong>Gunn</strong>, Tommy <strong>Gunn</strong>, Sterling <strong>Gunn</strong>, all of Reidsville. The funeral will be held<br />

Thursday at 2 p.m. from the <strong>New</strong> Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. Clay Smith.<br />

Burial will be in the Prospect United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive<br />

friends at the Hooper Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p. (Thomas and Sarah<br />

Nellie <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Nellie <strong>Gunn</strong> of Granville, Illinois who was spending several months with her sister, Mrs. B.<br />

A. Dickinson of 345 Englewood Ave.,Chicago died last Wednesday evening June 11, 1913 at<br />

the above residence. The funeral occurred at Granville on Friday<br />

Nellie L. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Aunt and great-aunt Nellie L. <strong>Gunn</strong> of <strong>New</strong>ark, <strong>New</strong> Jersey, passed away on Sept. 3, 2008.<br />

The funeral service is on Monday at 10 a.m. at Cotton Funeral Service, 1025 Bergen St.,<br />

<strong>New</strong>ark. Interment is in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation is on Sunday from 7 to 9<br />

p.m. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was the beloved wife of the late Leroy <strong>Gunn</strong>; loving daughter of the late<br />

Marthell and Alex Gardner Sr.; cherished aunt of Dianne Bacon, Geraldine Dent, Gregory<br />

Johnson, Sharon and Wayne Chester, Denise Dent, Tammy Eddy and Regina Williams; also<br />

survived by a host of grand-nieces, grand-nephews, other relatives and friends.<br />

Nellie <strong>Gunn</strong> Lockwood<br />

ARCADIA, Indiana — Mrs. Nellie <strong>Gunn</strong> Lockwood, 81, resident of the Cicero-Arcadia area,<br />

died Saturday Dec 5, 1970 at Tipton County Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Funeral<br />

services have been set for 2 p.m. today at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Cicero. Mrs.<br />

Lockwood had spent most of her life in Cicero and Arcadia. She was a daughter of John and<br />

Eva Williamson. She was married in 1909 to Charles <strong>Gunn</strong>, who died in 1945. She later<br />

married James Lockwood, who died in 1966. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Byron<br />

(June)Hopps of Anderson, and a son, -Wayne <strong>Gunn</strong> of Noblesville.<br />

Greensboro, Ga. Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie <strong>Gunn</strong> Saggus who died Sunday march 3,<br />

1968 in Minnie G. Bowell Hospital in Greensboro after an extended illness will be held at 2<br />

pm at Crawfordville Baptist Church Crawfordville, Ga......Survivors include a daughter<br />

Emily Williams, Crawfordville; two sons, M. Oliver Saggus of Atlanta; and Everett W.
