Nellie Frances Gunn
The Register, Danville, Va Wed. 1-11-78 Yanceyville, N.C. - Nettie Frances Gunn, 57, of
Blanch Rt. 1, died Tuesday at noon in The Memorial Hospital of Danville, Va., after a two
week illness. Born in Caswell County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. Gunn and
Effie Lenora Page Gunn. She attended New Hope United Methodist Church and was a
member of the New Hope United Methodist Church Women"s Club. She is survived by two
sisters, Mrs. L. O. Daniels, Blanch, and Mrs. Roy Jones, Pelham; and four brothers, Allen
Gunn, Willie Gunn, Tommy Gunn, Sterling Gunn, all of Reidsville. The funeral will be held
Thursday at 2 p.m. from the New Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. Clay Smith.
Burial will be in the Prospect United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive
friends at the Hooper Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p. (Thomas and Sarah

Nellie Gunn
Nellie Gunn of Granville, Illinois who was spending several months with her sister, Mrs. B.
A. Dickinson of 345 Englewood Ave.,Chicago died last Wednesday evening June 11, 1913 at
the above residence. The funeral occurred at Granville on Friday
Nellie L. Gunn
Aunt and great-aunt Nellie L. Gunn of Newark, New Jersey, passed away on Sept. 3, 2008.
The funeral service is on Monday at 10 a.m. at Cotton Funeral Service, 1025 Bergen St.,
Newark. Interment is in Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation is on Sunday from 7 to 9
p.m. Mrs. Gunn was the beloved wife of the late Leroy Gunn; loving daughter of the late
Marthell and Alex Gardner Sr.; cherished aunt of Dianne Bacon, Geraldine Dent, Gregory
Johnson, Sharon and Wayne Chester, Denise Dent, Tammy Eddy and Regina Williams; also
survived by a host of grand-nieces, grand-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Nellie Gunn Lockwood
ARCADIA, Indiana — Mrs. Nellie Gunn Lockwood, 81, resident of the Cicero-Arcadia area,
died Saturday Dec 5, 1970 at Tipton County Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Funeral
services have been set for 2 p.m. today at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Cicero. Mrs.
Lockwood had spent most of her life in Cicero and Arcadia. She was a daughter of John and
Eva Williamson. She was married in 1909 to Charles Gunn, who died in 1945. She later
married James Lockwood, who died in 1966. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Byron
(June)Hopps of Anderson, and a son, -Wayne Gunn of Noblesville.
