Terrell Lawson <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Hattiesburg Miss, Dec 26, 1924 - The only fire works casualty in Forest County, Miss,<br />

during the Christmas holidays was reported Friday with death of Terrll Lawson gunn, two<br />

year old child who died of poisoning after he had eaten a quanity of “devil chaser” which his<br />

older brothers had left in his reach. The child was attacked with convulsioins Thursday<br />

night and died early Friday.<br />

Terry Kay <strong>Gunn</strong> -BUTLER - Funeral services for Ms. Terry Kay <strong>Gunn</strong>, 32, of Butler, who<br />

passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2003 at Macon Northside Hospital will be held on<br />

Wednesday at 2P.M. at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Miller officiating.<br />

Burial will follow in <strong>Gunn</strong> Family Cemetery. Ms. <strong>Gunn</strong> was born in Lompoc, CA and had<br />

lived in Taylor County for the past ten years. -Terry Kay <strong>Gunn</strong> was a very special littlee<br />

lady. Although born with physical and mental disabilities, she has always exceeded everyones<br />

expectations. Her strength and personality had an impact on everyone she came in contact<br />

with. She was an Angel and angels are hard to find. -Survivors include her parents, Clyde G.<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, Jr. and Sue <strong>Gunn</strong> of Butler; a brother, James <strong>Gunn</strong> of Boyton Beach, FL; a sister,<br />

Dena Wilson and husband Terry of Butler; Terry was the aunt of James Wilkinson and<br />

Jessica Ashby, both of Butler; maternal grandmother, Bea Rodgers of Augusta; paternal<br />

grandparents: Clyde G. <strong>Gunn</strong>, Sr. and Sally <strong>Gunn</strong> of Grand Bay, AL; Uncle Herman<br />

Rodgers and wife Ruth of Hephzibah, GA: Aunt Becky Donaldson and husband Dave of<br />

Augusta; Aunt Barbara Harris and husband Richard of Colorado Springs, Uncle Chuck<br />

Antill of Boyton Beach, FL; best friends, Lewis and Hilda Moulton, Nell Miles and Glenda<br />

Brazziel, all of Butler. She was preceded in death by a special uncle, Sam Dearringer. -<br />

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6:00 until 8:00P.M. -Edwards Funeral Home of<br />

Tess <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Mrs. Tess <strong>Gunn</strong>, age 105, who spent the first 100 years of her life in Tennessee, died Tuesday<br />

in Beach Haven health Care Center. She came here in 1962 to live at the home of a daughter,<br />

Mrs. Dan Jordan of 2444 E. 83d Street, Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong>, the former American<br />

McGowan, had lived on a farm in Hillsboro, Tenn. Her husband died in 1942. According to<br />

her records Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was 105 on Dec 31, 1967. Surviving also are eight grandchildren, five<br />

great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Srvices will be at the Ball Funeral<br />
