Clara Anna Severtson <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

89. of Miami, died at 9:15 a.m. today June 3, 1967 in Highland General Hospital. She was<br />

born March 5,1887, in McPherson, Kans., and married Dr. Milas <strong>Gunn</strong> in 1913. He died in<br />

1932. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Miami, having moved<br />

there in 1905 from Oklahoma. Survivors include three sisters. Miss <strong>My</strong>rtle, Miss Jessie Bob<br />

and Miss Tennie V. Severtson, all of San Antonio; a son - in - law, two grandsons and two<br />

great-grandsons. Funeral services are pending with Carmichael - Whatley Funeral<br />

63, homemaker, of Memphis, died February 26, 2009 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.<br />

Visitation, Saturday, March 7 from 11 a.m. until service at 12 Noon at Sandhill Baptist<br />

Church, Lamar, MS with burial in the church cemetery. She leaves her husband, Mack<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>; daughter, Theresa <strong>Gunn</strong>; son, Troy Brown; mother, Frances Brown; sisters, Lula<br />

Peterson, Georgia Brown, Lee Frances Brown, Kennie Brown, Diane Brown; brothers,<br />

Howard, Mack, William, Eugene, Robert, and Bruce Brown; eight grandchildren. McGhee<br />

Clara Frances <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

77, of 1108 Lindsey St. Reidsville, N.C. went to be with the Lord Thursday May 12, 2011 at<br />

Annie Penn Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday May 14, 2011 at<br />

First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Memory Gardens. A native of<br />

Caswell County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late George Lee and Martha Pauline<br />

Moffitt <strong>Gunn</strong> and had lived in Reidsville most of her life. She was instrumental in helping<br />

start the Reidsville Outreach Center, and was Volunteer of the Year for the AARP in 2009.<br />

She served on the Board of Directors of the Reidsville Housing Authority, and help start a<br />

backpack ministry. She went on many mission trips and was preceded in death by her<br />

sister: June G. Courts and her nephew: Billy Courts. Surviving: brother, Norman Lee<br />

"Buddy" <strong>Gunn</strong> of Etowah, NC; nieces and nephews, Norman Gregory <strong>Gunn</strong>, Tina <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Weede, Renita Courts, Sally Courts, Summer Lynn Courts, Dale Courts Moore, Jonathan,<br />

Moore, and Samuel Moore; special cousin, Vivian Felker. The family will see friends 1 p.m.<br />

till 2 p.m. prior to the funeral service on Saturday May 14, 2011 at First United Methodist<br />

Services for Clara Louise <strong>Gunn</strong> will be held today, at 2 p.m., at Barham Funeral Home<br />

Chapel with Rev. Mike Russell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens<br />

with Barham Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 86, of Meridian,<br />

Ms., died Tuesday, Mar. 8, 2011, at Regency Hospital. She loved to sing, go shopping,<br />

fishing and traveling.She is survived by her sons: Nelson <strong>Gunn</strong>, R.C. <strong>Gunn</strong> Jr., and Robert<br />

Patrick <strong>Gunn</strong>, all of Meridian; grandchildren: Richard Humphrey, Barry Humphrey,<br />

Patrick <strong>Gunn</strong> Jr., Crystal <strong>Gunn</strong> <strong>My</strong>ers and Casey Neese; great-grandchildren: Sarah<br />

Elizebeth Louise Neese, Conner <strong>My</strong>ers, Carson <strong>My</strong>ers, Brent Ange and Keith Clark,
