Louise <strong>Gunn</strong> Plant,<br />

78, of Paducah died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, in Childress, TX. Services will be 11 a.m. today<br />

at First Christian Church. Seigler Funeral Home in Paducah.<br />

Louise (Makowski) <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

89, of Granite City, Illinois, formerly of Madison, died at 4:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at<br />

her residence. She was born Aug. 13, 1918, in Granite City. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was a member of St.<br />

Mary"s Catholic Church in Madison; retired in 1988 from the Madison School District as a<br />

cook after 25 years of service; was active with the Pontoon Beach Senior Citizens, the Madison<br />

Recreation Center, enjoyed playing bingo at the Ed Hagnauer Township Hall in Granite City,<br />

Friends of the Family and at the First Order of St. Francis at St. Mary"s; enjoyed helping with<br />

picnics and fish fries over the years; and was an avid quilter. Survivors include a niece, Agnes<br />

(Steve) Conkovich of Granite City; nephew, Ray Kozielek; one granddaughter, Cheryl<br />

(Kositzky) (Robert) McKinney of Granite City; and five great-grandchildren, Char-lee, Rascal,<br />

Bridget, Scooter and Vegas.She married William <strong>Gunn</strong> on April 2, 1962, in Garland, Ark. He<br />

preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia (Uhercik)<br />

Kositzky; her parents, John and Caroline (Ozarowksi) Makowski; a son-in-law, Harold<br />

Kositzky; and four sisters, Sadie Deniszuk, Josephine Kozielek, Helena Makowski and Mary<br />

Kindle. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. today, Feb. 20, at St. Mary"s Catholic Church.<br />

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Feb. 20, at the church with the Rev. Gene<br />

Prendiville officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Glen Carbon. Wojstrom<br />

Funeral Home & Crematory in Pontoon Beach handled the arrangements. Memorials may be<br />

made to the Granite City APA, Gateway Regional Hospice or to St. Mary"s Catholic Church<br />

and will be accepted at the funeral home.<br />

Louise G. <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

90, of Linden <strong>New</strong> Jersey. Died September 19, 2006. Born on May 19, 1916, in Ringgold, Va.,<br />

Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> lived in Linden for 19 years. She was a deaconess, Sunday school teacher and<br />

missionary at the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Ringgold, Virginia. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was preceded<br />

in death by her husband of 50 years, Deacon Clyde M. <strong>Gunn</strong>, and four children. Surviving are<br />

her children, Clyde G. <strong>Gunn</strong>, Bertha M. Hargrove, Nangelean Taylor, Gay F. Lucas, JoAnn<br />

Johnson and Michael L. <strong>Gunn</strong>; one son-in-law, Rev. Samuel Johnson; 18 grandchildren, 37<br />

great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.<br />

NETTLETON - Trudy Louise Roberts Whitlock, 92, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at the<br />

Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory, Mississippi. She was born Nov. 17, 1911, in the Pine<br />

Grove community of Monroe County to the late Charlie <strong>Gunn</strong> and Annie Roebuck Roberts.<br />

She lived in the Nettleton area all her life before moving to Shearer Richardson Nursing Home
