Louise Gunn Plant,
78, of Paducah died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, in Childress, TX. Services will be 11 a.m. today
at First Christian Church. Seigler Funeral Home in Paducah.
Louise (Makowski) Gunn,
89, of Granite City, Illinois, formerly of Madison, died at 4:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at
her residence. She was born Aug. 13, 1918, in Granite City. Mrs. Gunn was a member of St.
Mary"s Catholic Church in Madison; retired in 1988 from the Madison School District as a
cook after 25 years of service; was active with the Pontoon Beach Senior Citizens, the Madison
Recreation Center, enjoyed playing bingo at the Ed Hagnauer Township Hall in Granite City,
Friends of the Family and at the First Order of St. Francis at St. Mary"s; enjoyed helping with
picnics and fish fries over the years; and was an avid quilter. Survivors include a niece, Agnes
(Steve) Conkovich of Granite City; nephew, Ray Kozielek; one granddaughter, Cheryl
(Kositzky) (Robert) McKinney of Granite City; and five great-grandchildren, Char-lee, Rascal,
Bridget, Scooter and Vegas.She married William Gunn on April 2, 1962, in Garland, Ark. He
preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sylvia (Uhercik)
Kositzky; her parents, John and Caroline (Ozarowksi) Makowski; a son-in-law, Harold
Kositzky; and four sisters, Sadie Deniszuk, Josephine Kozielek, Helena Makowski and Mary
Kindle. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. today, Feb. 20, at St. Mary"s Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Feb. 20, at the church with the Rev. Gene
Prendiville officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Glen Carbon. Wojstrom
Funeral Home & Crematory in Pontoon Beach handled the arrangements. Memorials may be
made to the Granite City APA, Gateway Regional Hospice or to St. Mary"s Catholic Church
and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Louise G. Gunn,
90, of Linden New Jersey. Died September 19, 2006. Born on May 19, 1916, in Ringgold, Va.,
Mrs. Gunn lived in Linden for 19 years. She was a deaconess, Sunday school teacher and
missionary at the Mount Zion Baptist Church in Ringgold, Virginia. Mrs. Gunn was preceded
in death by her husband of 50 years, Deacon Clyde M. Gunn, and four children. Surviving are
her children, Clyde G. Gunn, Bertha M. Hargrove, Nangelean Taylor, Gay F. Lucas, JoAnn
Johnson and Michael L. Gunn; one son-in-law, Rev. Samuel Johnson; 18 grandchildren, 37
great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

NETTLETON - Trudy Louise Roberts Whitlock, 92, died Saturday, April 3, 2004, at the
Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory, Mississippi. She was born Nov. 17, 1911, in the Pine
Grove community of Monroe County to the late Charlie Gunn and Annie Roebuck Roberts.
She lived in the Nettleton area all her life before moving to Shearer Richardson Nursing Home
