and his sister Gayle Yandell. He is survived by his two sons, Christopher Eli <strong>Gunn</strong> and his<br />

girlfriend Salina, and Brandon William <strong>Gunn</strong>, wife Tya and granddaughter Jade, all of Pine<br />

Grove, California. He is also survived by his mother, Gladys <strong>Gunn</strong>; sister, Nanda Bryan;<br />

brother, Jim <strong>Gunn</strong>; and brother-in-law, Larry Yandell, all of Austin, Texas, as well as many<br />

nieces, nephews, family, and friends. A celebration of Billy"s life will be held Saturday,<br />

February 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jackson United Methodist Church in Jackson,<br />

California. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the World Wildlife<br />

William B. <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

William B. <strong>Gunn</strong>, a resident of Petal, Miss., died Sunday at a Hattiesburg hospital. He was 82.<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, a deacon and member of Crestview Baptist Church, was retired as a heavy equipment<br />

operator from Warren Paving Co. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He is<br />

survived by his wife, Hazel Horn <strong>Gunn</strong> of Petal; two sons, William W. <strong>Gunn</strong> and Gerald G.<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, both of Petal; a brother, Clyde <strong>Gunn</strong> of Grand Bay; a sister, Velma Walker of<br />

Semmes; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.Visitation will be this evening<br />

from 5 to 8 at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg. Services are set for 10 a.m.<br />

Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial at Hillcrest Cemetery in Petal. (Thomas and Sarah<br />

HALTOM CITY, TX - William B. <strong>Gunn</strong> Jr., 75, an Army supply sergeant major, died<br />

Tuesday in Haltom City. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. today at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.<br />

Graveside service: 3 p.m. today in Whitt Cemetery in Whitt. Memorials: Community Hospice<br />

of St. Joseph. Sgt. Maj. <strong>Gunn</strong> was born May 9, 1920, in Ira. He was a member of VFW Post<br />

9190 in Haltom City and American Legion Post 75 in Mineral Wells. Survivors: Wife, Louise<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> of Haltom City; sons, Ernest William <strong>Gunn</strong> of Granbury and John R. Mitchell of<br />

Plano; daughter, Brenda J. Allen of Fort Worth; brother, Stanley <strong>Gunn</strong> of Waco; sisters,<br />

Fayteen Moore of Weatherford, Mary Lee Lenk of Marysville, Mich., and Betty M. Hester,<br />

Weatherford; several nieces, nephews and grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.<br />

87, of Mill Cove Road died Monday at Kent Hospital. Born in Providence, a son of the late<br />

Peter J. and Marie (Degnan) <strong>Gunn</strong>, he was a lifelong Warwick resident. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was a<br />

letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years before retiring in 1983. He was a WWII<br />

Navy veteran. He leaves 2 sisters, Anne E. <strong>Gunn</strong> and Martha B. <strong>Gunn</strong> both of Cranston. He<br />

was the brother of the late James T., Mary T., and Angela H. <strong>Gunn</strong>. His funeral will be<br />

Thursday at 9 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue,<br />

Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Benedict Church, Beach Avenue, Warwick at 10<br />

AM. No Calling Hours. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.<br />
