<strong>Gunn</strong>, he had made his home in Danville for many years and had operated the Shell<br />

Service Station at Stokesland. At the time of his death, he was employed in a furniture<br />

factory in Asheboro. His first wife, Mrs. Irene Strader <strong>Gunn</strong>, died Nov. 9, 1969. He later<br />

married the former lona Hancock of Asheboro. who survives. In addition to his wife, he is<br />

survived by a daughter. Mrs. Dorothy Eldine Moore. Danville; a son, Eugene R. <strong>Gunn</strong> Jr.,<br />

Danville; a step-daughter, Mrs. Alice Faye Morrow, Nashville, Tenn.; a step-son. Gene B.<br />

Hancock, Asheboro; three grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren. A funeral will be<br />

held Wednesday at Southall Baptist Church by the Rev. W. C. Bradley and the Rev. Leslie<br />

Winslow. Time of the funeral will be announced later.. Interment will be in the Happy<br />

Home Christian Church Cemetery, Rockingham County. N.C. The body is at .Swicegood<br />

Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Tuesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. At other<br />

times they will be at the residence of his son, Eugene R. <strong>Gunn</strong> Jr.. 269 Withers Road<br />

Eugene <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

October 3, 1910 Americus, Ga., Eugene <strong>Gunn</strong> age 20 and a pressman by trade was shot and<br />

almost killed instantly early Sunday morning in a Jackson Hotel corridor. <strong>Gunn</strong> leaves a<br />

wife and two young children.<br />

passed May 10, 2008. Homegoing services will be held Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 1:00 p.m.<br />

at Holy Temple Deliverance. Bishop Nelson Clements, officiating. Interment, South-View<br />

Cemetery. Survivors are wife, one daughter, three sons, three sisters, two brothers, and a<br />

host of other relatives and friends. Please assemble at the church at 12 noon. Raleigh<br />

Eugene Simpson <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

age 87, of Tullahoma, died February 28, 2006. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was preceded in death by his<br />

parents, James Mauson <strong>Gunn</strong> and Ida Louise Limbach <strong>Gunn</strong> Prince; his wife, Eunice<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>; two sons, Ronnie and Phil <strong>Gunn</strong>; and one sister Hazel Delorme. He is survived by<br />

one brother, Ira <strong>Gunn</strong>, Sr. of Wartrace; two sisters, Jamie Miller of Normandy and Marie<br />

Prince of Tullahoma; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be<br />

held Thursday, March 2, 2006 between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at Tullahoma Funeral<br />

Home. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in the<br />

Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens..<br />
