Mann of San Clemente, Calif.; step-grandchildren, Shauna and Joshua Isbell of<br />

Jacksonville, Fla.; 12 great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; a sister, Nell<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> of La.;a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Margaret and Ralph Waters of Valdosta;<br />

numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, and nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 11,<br />

2007, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McLane Lakewood Funeral Home. Entombment will follow<br />

in the mausoleum in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the<br />

funeral home on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. Condolences may be conveyed online at<br />

A telegram received yesterday announced the death at the infirmary, in <strong>New</strong>port <strong>New</strong>s,<br />

Va., Feb 26, of Mr. C. G. <strong>Gunn</strong>. His mother, Mrs. M. E. <strong>Gunn</strong>, Mr. J. Dudley <strong>Gunn</strong> of<br />

Norfolk, Va; Mr. D. Lovie <strong>Gunn</strong>; Mrs. Jack Downing, Mrs. Clark, brothers and sisters<br />

survive him. To them Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was very dear and in their sorrow they have the sympathy<br />

of a large circle of acquintances. The body will be brought to Augusta for Burial and<br />

funeral announcements will be made later. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> had not been ill long. At the<br />

infirmary he was given every possible care and attention. C. G. as he was familiarly called,<br />

was very popular in Augusta. He was for many years engaged at the business house of Mr.<br />

George H. Howard. He was a member of the B. L. E. and was highly regarded by its<br />

membership. About three weeks ago, he and Mr. D. L. <strong>Gunn</strong> had agreed on a business<br />

venture at <strong>New</strong>port <strong>New</strong>s in the which the prspect was bery bright and in which the<br />

Curtis George <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

died February 27, 1908 in newport <strong>New</strong>s Virginia on Thursday afternoon in the 38 th years<br />

of his age. Funeral from residence, 429 Telfair Street this Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock.<br />

Curtis Steve <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

52, of Radcliff, Kentucky, died Monday, April 6, 2009, at Hardin Memorial Hospital in<br />

Elizabethtown. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette <strong>Gunn</strong>; and four daughters, Leterrio<br />

Brown, Tanisha Brown, Subrina Brown and Elizabeth Brown. Cremation was chosen.<br />

There will be a memorial service at a later date. Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home is<br />

in charge of arrangements<br />

Curtis "Pop" <strong>Gunn</strong> Sr.<br />

was a San Antonio automotive pioneer with a head for business and a heart for helping<br />

build the community, family and friends say. He died Friday at the age of 88. <strong>Gunn</strong> started
