December 20, 2004 - Neva F. Jones 86, of Emporia formerly of Americus died Saturday Dec<br />

28, 2004 at Vintage Manor. Mrs. Jones was a nurse’s aide at St. Mary’s Hopsital for 20<br />

years before she retired 30 years ago. The daughter of Alexander and Marnie Bickmore<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, she was orn march 19, 1918 in Herington. She married John B. Jones on June 23,<br />

1936. He died April 23, 1990. She is survived by one duaghter Mary Voorhees of Americus,<br />

Two daughter, Alta May Jones and Marcyle Hotzel; two sons James Edward Jones and<br />

LeRoy Jones a sister Thelma Jones who died. Burial was today in Lincoln Cemetery at<br />

Lebo. Emporia Kansas.<br />

Neva Cordelle <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

77, of 611 Wentworth St. Reidsville, NC, died Thursday in Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral<br />

will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Citty Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Coy Brown and the<br />

Rev. Willard Fulton officiating. Burial will be in <strong>Gunn</strong> family cemetery near Wentworth. A<br />

native of Rockingham County, she was an employee of Annie Penn Memorial Hospital as a<br />

nurses aid until her retirement in 1966. She was a member of First United Methodist<br />

Church. Surviving are brothers, Arthur T. <strong>Gunn</strong> of Danville, Va., R. W. <strong>Gunn</strong> of South<br />

Boston, Va., Ira A. <strong>Gunn</strong> of Wilson. The family will be at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. today.<br />

Neva F. Jones, 86, of Emporia, formerly of Americus, Kansas died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004,<br />

at Vintage Manor. Mrs. Jones was a nurse"s aide at St. Mary"s Hospital for 20 years before<br />

she retired 30 years ago. The daughter of Alexander and Mamie Bickmore <strong>Gunn</strong>, she was<br />

born March 19, 1918, in Herington. She married John B. Jones on June 23, 1936. He died<br />

April 23, 1990. Mrs. Jones was a former member of Emporia Rebekah Lodge 36. She is<br />

survived by one daughter, Mary Voorhees of Americus; four grandchildren, one of whom,<br />

Angela Patton, lives in Reading; and seven great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Alta May<br />

Jones and Marcyle Hotzel; two sons, James Edward Jones and LeRoy Jones; and a sister,<br />

Thelma Jones, died earlier. Burial was today in Lincoln Cemetery at Lebo. Memorial<br />

contributions to Hand in Hand Hospice may be sent in care of the Roberts-Blue-Barnett<br />

Nicholas <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

NEVADA -- Graveside services for Nicholas T. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 24, of 103 S. Garrett St., Nevada, will<br />

be held at noon Friday at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky, with Phillip Runion<br />

officiating. Visitation will be held an hour before services Friday at Bringman-Clark & Co.<br />

Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> died of natural causes at 8:05 a.m. Monday,<br />

March 3, 2003 at Bucyrus Community Hospital. He was born May 7, 1978 in Sylvania to<br />

Thomas V. <strong>Gunn</strong> and Marilyn J. (Rizor) Austin. His father survives in Toledo, and his<br />

mother survives in Findlay. He married Connie (Vicky) Clark on Nov. 16, 2002 in Carey, and<br />

she survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Madison <strong>Gunn</strong>, Nevada; a stepson, Gage Clark,<br />

Nevada; a stepdaughter, Kennedy Clark, Nevada; a brother, Adam of Erie, Mich.; and a<br />

sister, Jennifer <strong>Gunn</strong>, Findlay. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was a packer at Glen Gary Brick in Caledonia for<br />

three years. He previously worked at Todco, Upper Sandusky, and did construction work.<br />

He attended Sylvania High School, Marion Technical College and Toledo University.
