granddaughter, Ava Elise Kishish. Services will be Wednesday, September 13, 2006at 1:00<br />

PM, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., with<br />

Pastor Stephen Gettinger officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson,<br />

Indiana. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at at the funeral<br />

home"s South Chapel.<br />

Miss Ruth Helen <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

of Mount Carmel Church Road, Reidsville, NC., died Saturday at Moses Cone Memorial<br />

Hospital. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Carmel Church cemetery. A<br />

native of Rockingham County, she was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at<br />

Greensboro and taught in Winston-Salem. She retired after teaching in the Rockingham<br />

County school system. She was a member of the Happy Home United Church of Christ.<br />

Surviving are sister, Miss Clarice <strong>Gunn</strong> of the home; brothers, Edwin A. <strong>Gunn</strong> of Reidsville,<br />

Marvin L. <strong>Gunn</strong> of Asheville. Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel<br />

Church cemetery fund, to Happy Home United Church of Christ, or to the charity of the<br />

donor"s choice. Wilkerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. August 27, 1990 -<br />

Ruth M. <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

98, passed away Friday (2/12/10) at Holmes Lake Manor in Lincoln, Nebraska. Born in<br />

Pawnee City, Neb., she was the daughter of Sidney and Lottie Cornell. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was an<br />

insurance agent with John Hancock Ins. Co., having joined the company as their first female<br />

agent. Her greatest joy was her family and she was much loved by both family and friends.<br />

Family includes daughter, Marilyn and son-in-law Dr. Thomas F. Hinrichs, Lancaster, Pa.;<br />

son, Jack <strong>Gunn</strong> of California; and son, James V. <strong>Gunn</strong>, who preceded her in death. Other<br />

survivors include nine grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and fifteen great<br />

great grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the<br />

family. Memorials in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> may be made to<br />

Christ Unity Church, 135 N. 31st St. Lincoln or Aseracare Hospice, 1600 S. 70th, Suite 201,<br />

Lincoln.<br />

Ruth <strong>Gunn</strong> Austin<br />

1917 ; 2005 - Ruth <strong>Gunn</strong> Austin, 88, passed away June 22, 2005 at The Residence Care<br />

Source Hospice in Salt Lake City, Ut. Ruth was born June 5, 1917 in Richfield, Utah, but<br />

lived most of her life in the San Fernando Valley and Westlake Village, California, and in<br />

Sandy, Utah in her later years. Ruth married Victor H. Austin on Aug. 25, 1939 in The Salt<br />

Lake Temple. Ruth was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day<br />

Saints. Ruth graduated from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Ruth was preceded in<br />

death by her husband of 62 years Victor, her brothers James <strong>Gunn</strong> and Horace <strong>Gunn</strong>, and<br />

son-in-law Dr. Michael Hynes. She is survived by daughters Ann Hynes, Kirkland, WA and<br />

Jane (John) Dunlap, Auburn, CA; son Frederick (Susan) Austin, Sandy, UT; 11<br />

grandchildren; 12 great-grand children; sisters Edith Ann Lloyd and Wilhelmina Anderson,<br />

brothers Ralph <strong>Gunn</strong> and Thomas <strong>Gunn</strong>. A Memorial Service will be held Friday June 24,<br />

2005 at 3:00 p.m. at Holladay Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 Highland Drive in Salt Lake City.<br />

Interment will be in Westlake Village, CA, Pierce Brothers, Valley Oaks Cemetery.
