GUNN, Bruce On January 25, 2005 at 86 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Amelia
(nee Adamowski). Loving dad of Lorraine Gunn, Deborah and husband Joseph Gervais
and James Gunn and friend Bea. Best friend to grandsons Ian, Kevin and Robert Gervais.
Predeceased by brothers Fred and Robert and sisters Thelma, Florence and Leona
Clarkson. Dear brother-in-law to the late Janette Pedley, Ruth and husband Ted Sargent,
and the late Stanley Adamowski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Bruce was a
well known commercial artist who applied his paint brush and talents to Windsor
businesses for more than 50 years. Cremation services were held at Greenlawn Memorial
Gardens. Memorial Service date and time to be announced. Cremation arrangements
entrusted to Cremation Society of Windsor & Essex County (969-5449) 2670 Dougall Ave.

Bruce Elwood Gunn
Bruce Elwood Gunn, 85, of 958 N.C.65, Wentworth, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, at
Annie Penn Hospital, after a long period of declining health from diabetes and sprue. A
graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20,2001, in Evergreen Memory
Gardens, with the Rev. Dr. Bill Hayes and Dr. Michael Simmons officiating. A native of
Rockingham County, NC. , Bruce was a son of the late Robert Earlie and Sarah Walker
Gunn. He had lived his entire life in Wentworth. He and his wife were the retired owners
and operators of Gunns Greenhouses, Wentworth. He was also a rural mail carrier and
mechanic with the Rockingham County School System. He enjoyed working with many
crafts in his workshop after his retirement. He was a member of Wentworth Presbyterian
Church. Survivors include his devoted wife of 63 years, Josephine Smith Gunn of the
home; son, D. Wayne Gunn of Kingsville, Texas; sisters, Edna G. McCollum of Wentworth,
Bettie G. Sands and husband, Henry Sands of Wentworth; and sisters-in-law, Frances S.
Jones of Buies Creek and Iris S. Powell of Wentworth. The family will see friends from 7 to
8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2001, at Citty Funeral Home and at other times, they will be at
the residence. Memorials may be made to Wentworth Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box94,
Wentworth, N.C. 27375 or to the charity of the donors choice (Thomas and Sarah
Boatwright Gunn descendant).

ELWOOD — Bruce A. Gunn, 46, Elwood, died Jan. 26, 2013, at HCR Manor Care in
Anderson after an extended illness. Survivors include his father, Larry E. Gunn; two
brothers, Bryan T. Gunn (Carla McClish) and Bryce (Cathy) Gunn; and twin sister, Betsey
A. Gunn. Service 11 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, Elwood. Burial in
Elwood City Cemetery. Visitation 3 to 8 p.m. today at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home,
