father in the residential building business. Floyd served on the Board of Stewards for the<br />

First United Methodist Church of Arlington. He used his management skills, vision, and<br />

commitment on the Board of Education for 18 years, serving as president of that board for<br />

six years. After retiring from the Arlington Board of Education, Floyd served on the<br />

Tarrant County Board of Education for several additional years. Floyd M. <strong>Gunn</strong> Junior<br />

High School was opened in 1972, and he continued to take an active role in supporting the<br />

students, teachers and administrators of that school. Survivors: Loving wife of 60 years,<br />

Beth; sons, Stuart Kent Harris and wife, Pam, and Bill <strong>Gunn</strong> and wife, Mary; daughters,<br />

Diane <strong>Gunn</strong> Keoun and husband, Craig, and Susan <strong>Gunn</strong>; grandchildren, Troy<br />

Wetherholt, Stuart Harris Jr., Pam Harris Perkins, Sherri Harris, Stefanie Krueger,<br />

Steven Harris, James "Randy" Harris, Valerie Keoun, Bradley Keoun, Dianna <strong>Gunn</strong>, and<br />

Floyd P. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

The funeral of Floyd P. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 55, of 1006 Azalea will be held Thursday at 11 am at St.<br />

John’s Lutheran Church. Burial to be at Seaside Memorial Park. <strong>Gunn</strong> died yesterday<br />

October 30, 1962 in a hospital. He was a guard at the Great Southern Chemical Company.<br />

He is survived by his wife Cora and a son Carl Wayne <strong>Gunn</strong> of Corpus Christi Texas, and<br />

two brothers, Barney A. <strong>Gunn</strong> of Orange and Emory <strong>Gunn</strong> of Victoria, Texas. (Thomas<br />

Frances Marie Bradley <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

01-19-2002 - Frances Marie Bradley <strong>Gunn</strong>, 78, passed away Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at<br />

Wesley Long Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, in<br />

Westminster Gardens Cemetery, with Dr. Rev. Steven Pressley officiating, from First<br />

Baptist Church. Frances loved her Sunday school charity class. She was a devoted mother<br />

and wife, and loving grandmother. She was preceded in death by her son, F. Edward <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Jr. Survivors are her loving husband, F. Edward <strong>Gunn</strong> Sr.; daughters, Margaret Raines<br />

and husband, John of Greensboro, Maureen Williams and husband, David of Richmond<br />

Va.; grandchildren, Janice Greer and husband, Robbie of Lexington, Jared <strong>Gunn</strong> of<br />

Burlington, Sarah and Will <strong>Gunn</strong> of Houston, Texas, Maura Roberts and husband, Patrick<br />

of Laurel, Md., Lynne and Alison Williams of Richmond, Va., Meganne and Evan Raines<br />

of Greensboro, 3 great-grand children; sisters, Katherine Cameron of Sanford, Lou Jolly<br />

and husband, John of Browns Summit; and brother, Ves Bradley and wife, Vivanne of<br />

Celo. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at the Hanes-<br />

Lineberry North Elm Chapel.<br />

7, 2000. She was retired from Dundee Mills in Griffin and attended East Juliette Baptist
