Cemetery in Atlanta. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was a WWII Navy Veteran. He had been employed with<br />

the City of Atlanta Fire Dept. before retiring in 1976. He was a member of Smyrna First<br />

Baptist Church. Surviving are: Wife - Marlene <strong>Gunn</strong> of Smyrna, Son & Daughter-in-law<br />

John & Paula <strong>Gunn</strong> of Kennesaw, Brother - Gene <strong>Gunn</strong> of San Diego, CA, 2 Sisters - Nell<br />

Bates of Powder Springs, Lavern Linder of Hartwell, GA, 2 Grandchildren, Heather &<br />

Hannah <strong>Gunn</strong> of Kennesaw. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday,<br />

Jesse Ernest <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

GRAND HAVEN Michigan (Special) — Jesse Ernest <strong>Gunn</strong>, 51, Highland St., Ferrysburg,<br />

Mi died Thurday afternoon, February 15, 1956 in Municipal Hospital following an illness<br />

of several years. He was born in <strong>New</strong>ago April 27, 1905, and was married in Grand Haven<br />

Dec. 6, 1930 to Mary Farrer. He had been employed at Continental Motors in Muskeson as<br />

a machinist for 12 years. The family moved to this area from Coopersville about 12 years<br />

ago. Besides the wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clinton Harvey and Mrs.<br />

Erwin Ten Brink, both of Spring Lake and a son, Jack Arthur, at home; also three<br />

grandchildren. A son, Ernest, was killed in 1953. The rosary will be recited at Kammeraad<br />

Funeral Home at 5<br />

p.m. tonight and services will be held from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Spring Lake<br />

Saturday at 9 a.m. with the Rev. J. Ducey officiating.<br />

Jessie James <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

65, of Dryden, Va., went to be with the Lord Thursday March 27, 2009 at Holston Valley<br />

Medical Center. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Province Funeral Home,<br />

Pennington Gap, Va. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home<br />

sanctuary. Burial will follow at Lee Memorial Gardens in Woodway, Va.<br />

Jesse "Jack" <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

82, Lake Ozark, died Nov. 21, 2002, in Osage Beach. He was born Sept. 29, 1920, in Alton,<br />

Ill., a son of Jesse Sr., and Marie Donner <strong>Gunn</strong>. He was married June 7, 1947, in St. Louis,<br />

to Helen "Bee" Bright <strong>Gunn</strong>, who survives at the home. He worked for the Ford Motor<br />

Company as a lift operator. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church,<br />

Lake Ozark and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9273, including 3rd and<br />

4th Degrees. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post 15026 and was an Army veteran of<br />

World War II..Other survivors include: two sisters, Marcella Carter, Tucson, Ariz., and<br />

Dolores Romer, St. Louis. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Lake<br />

Catholic Church. Msgr. Michael Wilbers will officiate. Burial with military honors will be<br />

in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at<br />

Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to<br />

the charity of the donor"s choice.<br />

Marjory C. Smits, 93, of Lafayette died Monday, Sept. 27, at Fairacres Manor, Greeley,<br />

Colorado.Born Jessie <strong>Gunn</strong> on Oct. 23, 1910, in <strong>New</strong> York City to John Charles Key and
