Kathryn Louise Gunn Wells
51, of Horn Lake, Tn., retired nurse and former employee of Briar Crest Nursing Home,
Alcorn County Care Inn and Tippah County Nursing Home, died Monday, Jan 20, 2004, at
her home. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Harmony Baptist Church in Walnut, where
she was a member, with burial in Harmony Cemetery there. McBride Funeral Home in
Ripley has charge. Mrs. Wells, the wife of Terry Lee Wells, also leaves two daughters,
Rachel Meter of Southaven and April Wells of Walnut; her mother, Kay Gunn of Walnut;
three sisters, Amy Carmichiel of Corinth, and Jeannie Mills and Sara Mills, both of
Walnut; and a brother, Jeff Gunn, and her grandmother, Iris Stinson, both of Walnut.

Services for Mrs. Katherine E. Gunn, 425-9th SE, were conducted Monday, December 22,
1980 in Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, Texas, with Dr. James Semple and Dr.
A. B. White officiating. Burial was in Rockford Cemetery. Bearers were Bill Russo, Phillip
Carter, Jim Blankinship, Jim Brookshire, David Raper and Bryan Raper. Mrs. Gunn died
Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
