Doris Gunn Tiner
The graveside service for Doris Eleanor Gunn-Tiner was held Wednesday in Hillcrest
Memorial Park Mrs. Gunn - Tiner, 86, of Medford, died Monday (June 15, 1998) at
Hearthstone. She was born Jan. 15, 1912, in Cozad, Neb., and moved to the Rogue Valley in
1936. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Hedges, Pleasant Hill, and Delia Dewees,
Stratford, Texas; three sons, George Gunn, Medford, Jeremy Gunn, Eugene, and James
Gunn, Bremerton, Wash.; 22 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and three
great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, George Gunn and
Donald Tiner; a son, Morris Gunn, and a stepson, Bernard Gunn. Arrangements: Perl

Dossie Gunn
GUNN, Dossie L., 90, of Chesterfield, died on Saturday, June 9, 2007. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Reburn G. Gunn Sr.; and her son, Reburn G. Gunn Jr. Survivors
include a devoted daughter-in-law, Jean A. Gunn; her grandchildren, Reburn G.
"Tommy" Gunn III, Michael L. Gunn, Rebecca L. Gunn, Jeanne G. Trammell, John G.
Hagood and David C. Hagood; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews including a devoted niece, Wanda
L. Little. Mrs. Gunn was retired from Philip Morris after many years of service. She was a
remarkable woman who loved life, her family and friends, and in turn, was deeply loved by
all. A gathering of family and friends will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to
8 p.m. on Tuesday at Blileys - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a Funeral
Ceremony will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. Online

Douglas Alexander Gunn Jr.,
60, of Freeport, Maine, died April 26, 2006 after a brief illness with lung cancer. Doug was
born on April 4, 1946, in Norwich, Conn., the son of the late Douglas A. Gunn Sr. and
Annie (Senkewitcz) Gunn. He attended schools in Brooklyn, Conn., and then served in the
U.S. Navy, where he served two tours in Vietnam. He worked at L.L. Bean for over 20
years and after retirement Doug went on to create his own business, Gunn"s Lawn Service
in 2002, he owned and operated the business till he became sick and then handed the
business down to his son. Doug was a member of the American Legion Post #66 in Lisbon
Falls and a member of the United Maine Craftsman. Doug found great enjoyment in the
outdoors, with a passion for hunting, fishing and camping. He loved doing work around
the house, gardening and bird watching. Doug had a great talent when it came to wood
working. His love of carving santas and angels let to the creation of PineSanta, a side
business selling the santas across the country. Doug is survived by his loving wife Nancy
Hawkins (Higgins) Gunn of Freeport whom he married on Aug. 10, 1996. He is survived by
