Doris <strong>Gunn</strong> Tiner<br />

The graveside service for Doris Eleanor <strong>Gunn</strong>-Tiner was held Wednesday in Hillcrest<br />

Memorial Park Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> - Tiner, 86, of Medford, died Monday (June 15, 1998) at<br />

Hearthstone. She was born Jan. 15, 1912, in Cozad, Neb., and moved to the Rogue Valley in<br />

1936. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Hedges, Pleasant Hill, and Delia Dewees,<br />

Stratford, Texas; three sons, George <strong>Gunn</strong>, Medford, Jeremy <strong>Gunn</strong>, Eugene, and James<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, Bremerton, Wash.; 22 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and three<br />

great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, George <strong>Gunn</strong> and<br />

Donald Tiner; a son, Morris <strong>Gunn</strong>, and a stepson, Bernard <strong>Gunn</strong>. Arrangements: Perl<br />

Dossie <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

GUNN, Dossie L., 90, of Chesterfield, died on Saturday, June 9, 2007. She was preceded in<br />

death by her husband, Reburn G. <strong>Gunn</strong> Sr.; and her son, Reburn G. <strong>Gunn</strong> Jr. Survivors<br />

include a devoted daughter-in-law, Jean A. <strong>Gunn</strong>; her grandchildren, Reburn G.<br />

"Tommy" <strong>Gunn</strong> III, Michael L. <strong>Gunn</strong>, Rebecca L. <strong>Gunn</strong>, Jeanne G. Trammell, John G.<br />

Hagood and David C. Hagood; 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.<br />

She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews including a devoted niece, Wanda<br />

L. Little. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was retired from Philip Morris after many years of service. She was a<br />

remarkable woman who loved life, her family and friends, and in turn, was deeply loved by<br />

all. A gathering of family and friends will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday and 2 to 4 and 6 to<br />

8 p.m. on Tuesday at Blileys - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where a Funeral<br />

Ceremony will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Interment Dale Memorial Park. Online<br />

Douglas Alexander <strong>Gunn</strong> Jr.,<br />

60, of Freeport, Maine, died April 26, 2006 after a brief illness with lung cancer. Doug was<br />

born on April 4, 1946, in Norwich, Conn., the son of the late Douglas A. <strong>Gunn</strong> Sr. and<br />

Annie (Senkewitcz) <strong>Gunn</strong>. He attended schools in Brooklyn, Conn., and then served in the<br />

U.S. Navy, where he served two tours in Vietnam. He worked at L.L. Bean for over 20<br />

years and after retirement Doug went on to create his own business, <strong>Gunn</strong>"s Lawn Service<br />

in 2002, he owned and operated the business till he became sick and then handed the<br />

business down to his son. Doug was a member of the American Legion Post #66 in Lisbon<br />

Falls and a member of the United Maine Craftsman. Doug found great enjoyment in the<br />

outdoors, with a passion for hunting, fishing and camping. He loved doing work around<br />

the house, gardening and bird watching. Doug had a great talent when it came to wood<br />

working. His love of carving santas and angels let to the creation of PineSanta, a side<br />

business selling the santas across the country. Doug is survived by his loving wife Nancy<br />

Hawkins (Higgins) <strong>Gunn</strong> of Freeport whom he married on Aug. 10, 1996. He is survived by
