4:30 p.m. today at Yanceyville United Methodist Church by the Rev. Stanley Hare and the<br />

Rev. Joel H. Campbell. Burial will be in the church cemetery.The family will receive<br />

Henrietta <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

HANNIBAL, Missouri - Henrietta (Hanky) M. Butts, 74, of Liberty, Ill., and formerly of<br />

Hannibal, died at 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill.<br />

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at the James O"Donnell Funeral Home<br />

in Hannibal. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal. Visitation will be from<br />

6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Butts was born Sept. 6, 1928, in Quincy to<br />

Fredrick H. and Arietta Mae Fogle Kramer. She was married to Donald F. Hamann. He<br />

preceded her in death. She was then married to Charles Leon Wesley <strong>Gunn</strong>. He preceded<br />

her in death. She was later married to Marion Delano Butts. He also preceded her in death.<br />

Survivors include two sons, Larry <strong>Gunn</strong> and wife, Meta, of Hannibal, and Robert Hamann<br />

and wife, Diane, of Quincy; one half-sister, Arietta Phillips of Liberty, Ill.; six<br />

grandchildren, Taunua Parsons, Fay <strong>Gunn</strong>, Dianna Hamann, Susan Ann Hamann, Anita<br />

Hood and Nicole Hamann; and three great-grandchildren, Edward Parsons, Charles<br />

Parsons and Kyle Murdock. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ronald<br />

Hamann; three brothers, Harvey Kramer, Owen Kramer and Fredrick Kramer; and four<br />

sisters, Patsy Kramer, Arminda Pettit, Loretta Potter and Virginia Griffin. Mrs. Butts was<br />

Catholic by faith. She enjoyed fishing, crocheting, spending time with her grandchildren<br />

and loved to raise hell. She was a lovely person. Memorials may be made to the donor"s<br />

choice. Pallbearers will be Kevin Parsons, Lance Murdock, John Fogle Jr., Jon See, Robert<br />

Sparks and Kenny White. An honorary pallbearer will be James White.<br />

Henryetta <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

1932 - 2011 - On March 15, 1932, a baby girl was born to Mary Green and Henry<br />

McClendon, in Pine Hollow, Oklahoma. They named their precious baby, Henryetta. She<br />

was the third oldest of eleven children. She grew up and attended school in the Pine Hollow<br />

Community. At an early age, Henryetta professed her love for Christ. Henryetta met and<br />

married Mr. Edward <strong>Gunn</strong> and to this union seven children were born. This marriage<br />

later dissolved. Henryetta moved to Muskogee to raise her children. She made St. Mark<br />

Baptist Church her church home, where she served on the usher board, greeting members<br />

and visitors alike with a smile. She later met Mr. Nathaniel Dyer, who became her<br />

companion for many years until his death. Henryetta loved garage sales and collected many<br />

valuable items. She loved cooking and was known for the great Sunday and Holiday feast,<br />

where family and friends would gather, like in the movie "Soul Food" to share a meal.<br />

Henryetta will be remembered as a giver and always willing to help others in need. She will<br />

truly be missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry, two sons, Edward and<br />

Enoch, one daughter, Rosetta, two sisters, Harriett and Emma and two brothers, Tim and<br />

Lenard. The family she leaves to cherish their precious memories of her include her
