Gunn on October 4, 1941 in Chippewa Falls, WI. He predeceased her on August 9, 2003.
Fern was a manager in the area for Trichem and Artex. She was a member of the Church
of the Nazarene. Survivors include her children, Gary (Marian) Gunn of Marshfield, WI,
Dennis Gunn, Gordon (Nancy) Gunn and Brad (Rhonda) Gunn all of Beloit, WI; 15
grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Gerri) Dodge of
Birnamwood, WI. She was predeceased by her parents and daughter, Karol. Private
services were held on Thursday, January 6, 2004. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery.

Florene Hampton Gunn,
76, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2004. Florene was born April 24,
1927, in Weatherford, to Charlie and Neva Morris. She graduated from Weatherford High
School in 1944. She was an active member of Christ Church Assembly of God for 30 years,
where she served as leader of the Senior Group for several years. She was employed at the
downtown Harris Hospital for 30 years, spending most of those years as clerk in the
coronary unit. After retiring, she was coordinator for a free clinic for 10 years. She will be
missed by all who knew her and all who have experienced her extraordinary wit, used in
the stories she often wrote. Survivors include her husband of almost 59 years, Ralph Gunn;
son, Charlie and wife, Joyce, of North Richland Hills; daughter, Judy Gunn of
Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jeffery and Lena Gunn of St. Louis, Mo., and Lori
and Byrd Williams of Saginaw; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 10
a.m. Saturday, April 24, at Christ Church Assembly of God, pastor Darius Johnson
officiating. Graveside service will be private. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 23,
at Greenwood Funeral Home.

SHADEHILL, S.D. -- Florence K. Gunn, 91, Shadehill, died Feb. 15, 2001, in the Hettinger
hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MST Saturday at St. Mary"s Catholic Church,
Lemmon, with burial in Hettinger cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Lorinda
Bossman, Alexandria, Va., and Roxann Van Bockel, Emigrant, Mont.; one son, Vincent,

Florence “Sunny” Gunn Blake
Toms River resident Florence Gunn Blake, a loving mother and grandmother who has
family in Brielle, died Tuesday, April 26, at home. She was 78 years old. Born in
Moorestown, she lived in Pennsylvania until she retired from the Philadelphia National
Bank as a branch manager. After retiring from the bank, she moved to Toms River to be
close to her children and grandchildren. She was a graduate of Moorestown Friends School
and Wilson College. Sunny loved to play field hockey and was an avid sports fan. She was
