<strong>Gunn</strong> on October 4, 1941 in Chippewa Falls, WI. He predeceased her on August 9, 2003.<br />

Fern was a manager in the area for Trichem and Artex. She was a member of the Church<br />

of the Nazarene. Survivors include her children, Gary (Marian) <strong>Gunn</strong> of Marshfield, WI,<br />

Dennis <strong>Gunn</strong>, Gordon (Nancy) <strong>Gunn</strong> and Brad (Rhonda) <strong>Gunn</strong> all of Beloit, WI; 15<br />

grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Robert (Gerri) Dodge of<br />

Birnamwood, WI. She was predeceased by her parents and daughter, Karol. Private<br />

services were held on Thursday, January 6, 2004. Burial was in East Lawn Cemetery.<br />

Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home 2355 Cranston Road Beloit, WI, assisted<br />

the family with arrangements.<br />

Florene Hampton <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

76, of Fort Worth, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2004. Florene was born April 24,<br />

1927, in Weatherford, to Charlie and Neva Morris. She graduated from Weatherford High<br />

School in 1944. She was an active member of Christ Church Assembly of God for 30 years,<br />

where she served as leader of the Senior Group for several years. She was employed at the<br />

downtown Harris Hospital for 30 years, spending most of those years as clerk in the<br />

coronary unit. After retiring, she was coordinator for a free clinic for 10 years. She will be<br />

missed by all who knew her and all who have experienced her extraordinary wit, used in<br />

the stories she often wrote. Survivors include her husband of almost 59 years, Ralph <strong>Gunn</strong>;<br />

son, Charlie and wife, Joyce, of North Richland Hills; daughter, Judy <strong>Gunn</strong> of<br />

Chattanooga, Tenn.; grandchildren, Jeffery and Lena <strong>Gunn</strong> of St. Louis, Mo., and Lori<br />

and Byrd Williams of Saginaw; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 10<br />

a.m. Saturday, April 24, at Christ Church Assembly of God, pastor Darius Johnson<br />

officiating. Graveside service will be private. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 23,<br />

at Greenwood Funeral Home.<br />

SHADEHILL, S.D. -- Florence K. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 91, Shadehill, died Feb. 15, 2001, in the Hettinger<br />

hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. MST Saturday at St. Mary"s Catholic Church,<br />

Lemmon, with burial in Hettinger cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Lorinda<br />

Bossman, Alexandria, Va., and Roxann Van Bockel, Emigrant, Mont.; one son, Vincent,<br />

Shadehill; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. (Evanson-Jensen Funeral<br />

Florence “Sunny” <strong>Gunn</strong> Blake<br />

Toms River resident Florence <strong>Gunn</strong> Blake, a loving mother and grandmother who has<br />

family in Brielle, died Tuesday, April 26, at home. She was 78 years old. Born in<br />

Moorestown, she lived in Pennsylvania until she retired from the Philadelphia National<br />

Bank as a branch manager. After retiring from the bank, she moved to Toms River to be<br />

close to her children and grandchildren. She was a graduate of Moorestown Friends School<br />

and Wilson College. Sunny loved to play field hockey and was an avid sports fan. She was<br />

often found in the stands at Manasquan High School sporting events. She also worked as a
