Otha <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Otha <strong>Gunn</strong>, 78, of Ward passed away March 21, 2007, in North Little Rock. He was born<br />

July 15, 1928 to the late Otha and Ernestine Holden <strong>Gunn</strong> in Zion. In addition to his parents,<br />

he was preceded in death by his brother, Milton <strong>Gunn</strong>. Junior was of the Baptist faith and<br />

owned and operated Asher Avenue Welding. He was also a member of Brady Lodge #753<br />

and was a 32nd degree Mason of the Scottish Rite Temple. Junior is survived by his loving<br />

wife of 56 years, Rachel Corder <strong>Gunn</strong>; four children, Freddy <strong>Gunn</strong>and his wife Thelma of<br />

Little Rock, Dennis <strong>Gunn</strong> of Cabot, Cecil <strong>Gunn</strong> and his wife Darlene of Lonoke, and Kenny<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> and his wife Regina of Cabot; sisters, Flo Jared of Hot Springs, Jean Vaught of<br />

Hickory Ridge, and Marie Smithers of Russellville; 11 grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren;<br />

one great-great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.<br />

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 24 at Old Carlisle Cemetery with Bro.<br />

Terry Fortner and Bro. Jimmy Huffman officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1<br />

p.m. Saturday, March 24 at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Moores Cabot Funeral<br />

Oscar <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Oscar, the infant son of Mr and Mrs W. A. <strong>Gunn</strong> died Tuesday at the family residence. The<br />

body was removed to the chapel of Harry Poole. Published Atlanta Constitution 2-26-1918<br />

Conroe, TX, 936.756.3311. Funeral Services for Oscar <strong>Gunn</strong>, Jr. 57,of Conroe, will be held at<br />

4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 14, 2004, at the Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel with pastor<br />

Steve Dayen officiating. Visitation will be 3:00-5:00 p.m., Saturday, November 13, 2004, at<br />

Metcalf Funeral Home. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was born April 7, 1947, in Sanford, Florida and passed<br />

away November 7, 2004, in , Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar <strong>Gunn</strong>,Sr.<br />

and Catherine <strong>Gunn</strong>; brother, Gerald <strong>Gunn</strong> and son B.J. <strong>Gunn</strong>. He is survived by his loving<br />

wife, Rose <strong>Gunn</strong>; children, Detrich, Oscar III, Anthony, Kevin, Phyllis, Garry, Jovon,<br />

Kathryn, Andrew, Melissa, Tricia,and Rachel; sisters, Sandra, Frances, Janice and Lois;<br />

brothers, James Eugene and Bernard; grandchildren, father and mother-in-law, Francis and<br />

Dorothy Strack, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A<br />

beloved husband, father, brother and is resting until our Lord Jesus comes again.<br />

Pallbearers are Andrew <strong>Gunn</strong>, Mitch Martin, Bruce Heater, Bruce Oliver, Bob Sengele,<br />

Duane <strong>New</strong>man, Larry Lee, Bernard <strong>Gunn</strong>, James <strong>Gunn</strong> and James Martin<br />

The funeral of little Oselle <strong>Gunn</strong> who died Wednesday afternoon about 3 o’clock at the<br />

residence of his parents, Mr. And Mrs. L. E. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 914 Ceneter Street, took place yesterday<br />

afternoon in Keysville. The little fellow was the idol of his parents and the deepest sympathy<br />

is extended them in their bereavement. The body was carried to Keysville, Ga., yesterday<br />

and interred in the family burial ground about four o’clock. Augusta Chronicle page 10,<br />
