Carleen <strong>Gunn</strong> Miles<br />

Graveside services for Carleen Miles will be held today at 10 a.m. at Arkadelphia Cemetery<br />

with the Rev. Robbie Bennett officiating. Stephens Funeral Home is in charge of<br />

arrangements. Mrs. Miles, 75, of Meridian, Mississippi died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at<br />

Regency Hospital of Meridian. She was a retired registered nurse who worked at Jeff<br />

Anderson Regional Medical Center, Matty Hersee and Meridian Convalescent<br />

Home.Survivors include two daughters, Wanda J. Miles of Meridian and Nita Williams<br />

and her husband, Gregg, of Bailey; two sons, Robert Miles and his wife, Judy, of Scooba<br />

and Clifton Miles of Bailey; a brother, Edward <strong>Gunn</strong> of Bailey; and three sisters, Margaret<br />

McKeithen and her husband, the Rev. Edward McKeithen of Eight Mile, Ala., Frances<br />

Grissom of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Jewel Cox of Pensacola, Fla.; grandchildren, Edward<br />

Miles Jr., and his wife, Frances and April Dancey and her husband, Jarrod, all of<br />

Meridian, Troy Harrison and his wife, Carol, of Dubach, La., Scott Miles and his wife,<br />

Nikki, Bronzon Miles and his wife, Heather, and Lizzie Williams, all of Bailey, Alec Miles<br />

and his wife, Diana, of Collinsville, Shaun Miles and his wife, Brenda, of Starkville, Tara<br />

Hayes of Laurel, and Kelly Waite and her husband, Charlie, of <strong>New</strong>port Beach, Calif.; and<br />

13 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Miles; and her<br />

parents, S.J. and <strong>My</strong>rtle <strong>Gunn</strong>.Pallbearers will be Robby Miles, Scott Miles, Troy<br />

Harrison, Alex Miles, Shaun Miles and Bronzon Miles.<br />

GUNN, Carleton E. "Peter" Passed away May 24, 2005 surrounded by his loving family<br />

after a long and courageous battle with cancer at 66 years of age in Windsor, Canada. .<br />

Beloved husband of 39 years to Karen (nee Blackburn). Loving father of Matthew <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

and Carleen Carr and her husband Timothy. Cherished "Papa" of Aisling and Logan<br />

Carr. Loving brother of Ron and Mary <strong>Gunn</strong> of Livermore, CA. Dearest brother-in-law of<br />

Keith Blackburn. Will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephew, Kim, Karen, Kelly and<br />

Kevin and by his special uncle Glenn and his new bride aunt Jeanne. Friends may call at<br />

the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 1969 Wyandotte St. E. on<br />

Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 27, 2005<br />

at 1:00p.m. Pastors Mark Hazzard and Bill Muresan officiating. Cremation to follow. In<br />

lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hospice of Windsor, Overseas Missions through<br />

Parkwood Gospel Temple or to World Vision Canada would be appreciated by the<br />

Carlie Mae <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

a native of Monroeville, Alabama and a resident of Bratt, Fla., died Friday at a Florida<br />

hospital. She was 76. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> retired from Vanity Fair after 44 years. She was a<br />

member of the Bratt Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her husband, Kelly <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

of Bratt; and two sisters, Mildred Stanley of Daphne and Betty Hasting of Nokomis in<br />

Escambia County. Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m. today at Petty-Eastside Chapel
