Vera Kinzey - Athens Georgia<br />

Vera <strong>Gunn</strong> Kinzey, 78, of 155 N. Homewood Drive died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998. A native of<br />

McDuffie County, Mrs. Kinzey was a daughter of the late Lewis and Ruby Brown <strong>Gunn</strong> and<br />

widow of Robert Benjamin Kinzey Sr. She had a long career as an educator, both in Georgia<br />

public schools and at the University of Georgia, from which she retired in 1982 as an<br />

assistant professor in the College of Education. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in<br />

Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Louis Satterwhite officiating. Survivors include a<br />

daughter, Anita Kinzey Sharpe, Athens; two sons, Robert B. Kinzey Jr. and Dennis W.<br />

Kinzey, both of Athens; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.<br />

Verda <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

The funeral for Mrs. Verda M. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 77, Republic, Kansas will be at 2 pm Tuesday<br />

December 9, 1975 at the Republic United Methodist Church, the Rev. Loren Silsby<br />

officiating. Burial will be in the Rosemound cemetery northwest .of Republic. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

died Saturday at her home. She was born Feb. 5, 1898, in Gage county, Neb., and moved to<br />

the Republic area as a child. She was a member of the Republic United Methodist Church<br />

and the White Rock club. Survivors are 4 sons,Merrill L., Camarillo, Calif., and Charles W.,<br />

Ralph R. jr. and Robert L., all of Republic; 2 daughters, Mrs. Marilynn Birrell, Republic,<br />

and Mrs. Constance J. Smith, Camarillo, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Sylvia Duvall, Walla Walla,<br />

Wash.; 17 grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren. Friends may call at the Bachelor-<br />

Verdie Mae Thomason <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

VERDIE MAE THOMASON GUNN, 84, died Thursday, April 28, 2005, at Life Care Center<br />

of Fort Wayne. Born in Alabama, she was a homemaker and was a member of East Allen<br />

County Church of Christ. Survived by her children, Mary Hambrock, Marty Anderson,<br />

Jimmie Thomason, Betty Keller, and John Thomason; 11 grandchildren; 16 greatgrandchildren;<br />

and one great-great-grandchild; She was preceded in death by husbands,<br />

Jesse Thomason and Troy <strong>Gunn</strong>. Graveside Service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at Covington<br />

Vern Marie <strong>Gunn</strong> Teer<br />

Galveston County, Texas - passed away November 20, 2010. She was born in Richland,<br />

Texas on Jun 19. 1920 to Charlie and Bertha <strong>Gunn</strong>. Her husband Fred Teer, brother Ruben<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>, sister Delma Shirk and Grandson kevin Terr preceded her in death. Survivors<br />

include her son Charles Teer and daughter Linda Kukkuck and daughter Donna Teer.<br />
