Rosie M. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Rosie M. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 79, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m.<br />

Saturday, May 13, 2006, at Citizens Cemetery of Tiptonville, Tennessee, with Elder Stan<br />

Montgomery officiating. He gave the scripture, prayer, and eulogy. H.H. Hudson Funeral<br />

Home was in charge of arrangements. She was born March 20, 1927, to Ruthie and Henry L.<br />

Davidson in West Point, Miss. After moving to Tiptonville, she joined Ridgely Chapel Baptist<br />

Church. She was an avid fisherman. She leaves two daughters, Virginia Thomas and Goldie<br />

Klyce, both of Tiptonville; four sons, James R. Belk and John Ray <strong>Gunn</strong>, both of Tiptonville,<br />

Charles E. Belk of South Carolina, Amine Shabbaz of Nashville; 16 grandchildren; nine<br />

great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son,<br />

Henry Belk and two daughters, Carline Belk, and Virgie Braslemen.<br />

Rose Mary <strong>Gunn</strong> Jones<br />

MOUNDS, Ill. -- Rose Mary <strong>Gunn</strong> Jones, 80, of Mounds died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at<br />

Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky. Rose Mary was born June 24, 1929, in Cairo, Ill.,<br />

daughter of the late Zon and Mary Turner Vick. Rose Mary was a member of Shiloh Baptist<br />

Church and its Women's Missionary Union at Villa Ridge, Ill., where she was Sunday school<br />

secretary. She was treasurer of Shiloh Cemetery Association, and a member of Order of<br />

Eastern Star in Olive Branch, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first<br />

husband, Don C. <strong>Gunn</strong>, on March 26, 1952; second husband, Capt. Charles L. Jones, on Dec.<br />

7, 1989; and a son-in-law, Billy Joe Washam. Survivors include two daughters, Donna<br />

Washam of Miller City, Ill., Melissa (Randy) Gardner of Mounds; a special niece, Jackie<br />

(Kenny) Moore of Mounds; a sister, Margaret "Tootie" (Bill) Tally of Altamont, Ill.; three<br />

grandsons, Grant and Kyle Gardner and Alex Washam, two special grandsons, Rob Moore<br />

and Scott Washam; a great-granddaughter, Sabrina Gardner; nieces and nephews. Friends<br />

may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge.The funeral will be at<br />

11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Interment will be<br />

in Cairo City Cemetery at Villa Ridge.<br />

Monday, February 12, 2007 - Rosemary A. <strong>Gunn</strong> died Feb. 6, 2007, at age 82.RosemaryAlber<br />

was born Oct. 31, 1924, in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Lincoln High School and<br />

the University of Oregon. She was an executive secretary for the Lake Oswego School<br />

District. In 1946, she married Tom. Survivors include her husband; sons, Thomas "Scott"<br />

and Gary; and two grandchildren. Remembrances to Guide Dogs for the Blind in Boring.<br />
