the funeral and committal service will be held at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Brian<br />

Jensen, pastor of First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.<br />

Thenie <strong>Gunn</strong> Rumsey<br />

74, of Lorida, Florida died Wednesday at Highlands Regional Medical Center. A native of<br />

Caryville, she was a pioneer resident of Highlands County. She was the retired owner of the<br />

Oasis Inn in Sebring and Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Clarence; one daughter,<br />

Elizabeth W. Barnes of Sebring; one sister, Mittie R. Cain of Vernon; and two<br />

grandchildren. Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring. Published 4-14-1991 Tampa<br />

Theresa H. <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

84, of Shady Oaks in Middletown, NJ passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 surrounded by<br />

her loving family. Theresa was a devout Catholic and an active parishioner of St. Anthony of<br />

Padua RC Church, Red Bank. She served as a Eucharistic minister at daily masses and<br />

provided communion to the infirm at home. She was always ready and willing to help those<br />

in need. Theresa was also a member and former treasurer of the St. Ann's Society and a<br />

member of the Renew Group at the church. Theresa was a homemaker for many years<br />

before working as a bookkeeper for Gordon Danieli Design and A & D Products in<br />

Shrewsbury. Theresa and her husband enjoyed an active retirement. She loved traveling,<br />

dancing, theatre, yoga and fitness classes but most of all she cherished time spent with her<br />

family. Theresa is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Walter of 59 years. She is<br />

also survived by three sons, Joseph of Parsippany, Thomas of Jersey City and Stephen and<br />

his wife Angela of Wyckoff; six daughters, Marie and husband Alan Kappler of Oakhurst,<br />

Theresa and husband Richard Brooke of Pennington, Geraldine and husband Harold Hertig<br />

of Princeton, Phyllis and husband Robert Wszolek of Hightstown, Jennifer <strong>Gunn</strong> and<br />

partner Richard Macko of Aberdeen and Eileen and husband Richard O'Malley of Red<br />

Bank; one brother, Thomas Conroy of <strong>New</strong> York City; one sister, Nancy Burns of Hillsdale<br />

and eleven grandchildren, Jacqueline and Matthew Kappler, Jessie, Nicholas and Darby<br />

Brooke, Brian Hertig, Vincent and Patrick <strong>Gunn</strong>, Sean, Brendan and Shannon O'Malley.<br />

She is also survived by five nephews and their families.<br />

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 8th, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Thompson Memorial<br />

Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday,<br />

June 9th, 9:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church, corner of Bridge Ave. and Chestnut<br />

St., Red Bank. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers,<br />

the family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to The Foodbank of<br />

Monmouth & Ocean Counties, 3300 Rt. 66, Neptune, NJ
