30, 1955, in Rector. She was preceded in death by her mother, Albertine Smith <strong>Gunn</strong>;<br />

grandson, Tyler Ray Saylors; brother, Darvin Riggs; and sister, Norma Jean Morgan. She<br />

is survived by her sons, David Allen Wyatt and wife, Julie, and Richard James Wyatt, all of<br />

Paragould; daughter, Tammie Jean Fletcher and husband, Jason Akes, of Marmaduke;<br />

her parents, Oscar and Carol <strong>Gunn</strong> of Piggott; four grandchildren, Kaley Ann Russell,<br />

David Allen Wyatt Jr., Savanah Drew Fletcher and Jaxsen Cane Akes; three brothers,<br />

Dallas <strong>Gunn</strong> and wife, VIckie, of Rector, Mike <strong>Gunn</strong> and wife, Trish, of Paragould and<br />

Chris <strong>Gunn</strong> of Rector; sister, Billie Sue Baldwin and husband, Cletus, of Piggott;<br />

numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Visitation will begin at 10:30<br />

a.m. until service time Monday at Finch Baptist Church in Paragould. Funeral services will<br />

be at 2 p.m. with Terry Gage officiating. Burial is at Finch Cemetery in Paragould.<br />

Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott is in charge of arrangements.<br />

Jane C. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Jane C. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 80, of Old Mill Road, Charlestown, Rhode Island, died Thursday, Sept. 20,<br />

2007, at home. She was the wife of the late Aubrey V. <strong>Gunn</strong> and the late Jesse R. Carr.<br />

Born in West Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Freeborn S. and Beatrice A.<br />

(Briggs) Carr. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> had worked as an inspector at Kenyon Industries. She was a<br />

member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was the mother of Jesse<br />

F. Carr of Torrington, Conn., Anita J. Flint and Lorna Laurent, both of Charlestown;<br />

sister of Thelma Briggs; grandmother of five; great-grandmother of 10; and grandmother<br />

of the late Jesse O. Carr. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Church Of<br />

Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1240 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett. Visiting hours<br />

will be held Monday 6 to 8 p.m. in the church. Arrangements by Avery-Storti Funeral<br />

Jane France <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

87 died Thusday September 27, 2012 at Brandon Woods, Kansas. She was born in<br />

Phillipsburg, Kansas on April 8, 1925 the younger daughrer of Ira and Olive Anderson.<br />

She was raised and attended school is Osborne, Kanss. She attended McPherson College<br />

and transferred to the University of Kansas earning a bachelor’s degree from the School of<br />

Journalism in 1947. She met James <strong>Gunn</strong> who had returned from three years of service in<br />

the Navy during World War II. She married him the day after she completed her last<br />

College class. The <strong>Gunn</strong>s lived in Lawrnece Kansas since 1955. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> held several<br />

position with the University reitring in 1993 as professor of English. Their elder son<br />

Chrstopher died in 2005. She is survived by mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> of the home and her younger son<br />

Kevin of Lawrence. Interment in Pionee Cemetery at a later date.<br />

Jane C. Moore <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Mrs. J. C. <strong>Gunn</strong>, widow of the late Gen. G. W. <strong>Gunn</strong> of this city died at 6 p.m. Sunday at<br />

her home in Girard. The remains were brought to Opelika for burial. The deceased leaves<br />

three sons - Messrs. B. K., S. D., and Charles <strong>Gunn</strong> of the Columbus Plumbing Company,<br />

and was a sister of Mrs. R. A. Whitten of Opelika. She was 52 years old and a member of
