59, 5261 Alhambra Drive, Orlando, died Wednesday. Born in Davenport, she moved to<br />

Orlando from there in 1954. She was a teacher. She was a Baptist. She was a member of the<br />

Sunlight Pallbearers No. 230 and Morning Star OES No. 110. Survivors: husband, William<br />

J., Winter Park; son, William J. Jr., Orlando; daughters, Jackie, Josephine, Joyce Stevens,<br />

Janie Simmons, Patricia Williams, all of Orlando; mother, Rosa Lee Moses, Davenport;<br />

brothers, Gilbert Moses, Davenport, Zernie Moses, San Francisco; sister, Martha Shepard,<br />

Emile <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Ridgeland, SC - Emile <strong>Gunn</strong>, 83, died Monday, April 22 at Memorial Medical Center in<br />

Savannah as the result of a short illness. He was born Sept. 12, 1918 in Savannah to Lottie<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>. He was Comptroller for National Headquarters of Boy Scouts of America. He was a<br />

member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church and was a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII.<br />

Survivors: son, Mark Christopher <strong>Gunn</strong> of Hamberg, NJ; daughter, Caroline Ingram<br />

Garbade of Ridgeland, SC; and four grandchildren. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p. m.<br />

Wednesday, April 24 at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services: 2:00 p. m. Thursday, April 25<br />

at St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Ridgeland, SC. Burial: Ridgeland Cemetery.<br />

Emory <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

A coroner's jury ruled that the death of Emory <strong>Gunn</strong>, 18, of Ignacio, Colo., Saturday night<br />

July 4, 1959, was due to a self inflicted gunshot wound. <strong>Gunn</strong> died at a local hospital<br />

several hours after he apparently shot himself in the mouth at Coronado Park, Second and<br />

Indian School NW. According to police, <strong>Gunn</strong> was bleeding from his mouth and the upper<br />

left portion of his head when he was found. A .22 caliber pistol was lying beneath his body.<br />

Witnesses reported that he fired several wild shots, one of which struck a tree, then put the<br />

gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger. The young man was reportedly released from the<br />

Colorado State Reformatory June Since that time, police said, he had been staying with his<br />

brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Frank L. Olguin, 4638 Ten St NW. Funeral<br />

services will be held in Durango, Colo., according to the Garcia Mortuary. The date for the<br />

services has not been set. The young man is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs.<br />

Graves <strong>Gunn</strong>, Durango, a brother, Harold <strong>Gunn</strong>, living in Colorado, and five other sisters;<br />

Miss Althea <strong>Gunn</strong>, Albuqueque, Mrs. Corinne Rael and Misses Sylvia, Sandra and Janice<br />

all of Colorado.<br />
