age 84. Loving husband of the late Maureen "Irish" (nee O"Malley); son of the late John<br />

and Martha; brother of the late John (Marian, surviving), William (Nancy, surviving) and<br />

Timothy; cousin of Marjorie McGough of Ebensburg, PA; brother-in-law of Eileen<br />

O"Brien (James), June Mason (Bill), Thomas O"Malley (Nancy), Gerald O"Malley and the<br />

late Betty O"Malley; uncle and great uncle of many. Dan was a former Vice President of<br />

Roadway Express in Akron, Ohio and Special Agent of the FBI. He was a W.W. II U.S.<br />

Marine Corps Veteran. Born in Lakewood, OH, he was a resident of Fairlawn, OH for the<br />

last 30 years. Dan was a former member and President of the Fairlawn Country Club. A<br />

visitation will be held at A. NOSEK AND SONS, GERBER-McCREERY FUNERAL<br />

HOME, 8150 BRECKS-VILLE RD. TUESDAY, APR. 24, FROM 7-9 P.M. Funeral<br />

services and burial will be held in Ebensburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be<br />

Daniel M. <strong>Gunn</strong> - Daniel M. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 84, of Fairlawn, formerly of Brecksville, died April 23,<br />

2007. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was a former vice president of Roadway Express in Akron and special<br />

agent of the FBI. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II, and a former<br />

member and president of Fairlawn Country. He was predeceased by his wife, Maureen<br />

"Irish" (nee O"Malley); parents John and Martha; and brothers John, William and<br />

Timothy. Funeral services and burial were held in Ebensburg, Pa. Donations may be<br />

forwarded to The Village at St. Edward, 3131 Smith Road, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333. A. Nosek<br />

and Sons, Gerber-McCreery Funeral Home handled the arrangements.<br />

November 10, 2009 in Dallas, Texas. Daniel is survived by daughters, Paulette <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

Cynthia <strong>Gunn</strong> Coleman, Kathe Phillips; grandchildren, Rosalyn Bain, Roxanne Coleman,<br />

Jeffrey Sone, Stephanie Sone, Kelsey Phillips, Rickey Phillips; great grandchildren, Peyton<br />

Birdwell, Ja’Marian Pearson, Colton Coleman, Addison and Bailey Bain.<br />
