Annie Mae <strong>Gunn</strong> Green<br />

LENOX, Georgia — Annie Mae Green, 95, of Lenox died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at<br />

Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Leila<br />

United Methodist Church in Colquitt County, with the Rev. Jimmy Hinson and the Rev.<br />

Keith Vanderhorn officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. The family will<br />

receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home in Adel. Mrs. Green<br />

was born Sept. 9, 1914 in Sylvester and lived most of her life in Cook County. She was a<br />

homemaker and member of West Central Avenue Church of God. She was preceded in<br />

death by her father, Vann <strong>Gunn</strong>; mother, Amanda Powell <strong>Gunn</strong>; her husband, Winston<br />

Levi Green; sons, Randall Green and Clinton Green; a daughter, Anita Gail Green; a<br />

grandson, Danny Green; and brothers, Archie Green and Dorsey Green.She is survived by<br />

her daughters, Shirley Nadeau of Augusta, Jeanette Marcellino of <strong>New</strong>nan and Judy<br />

McCraw of Tyrone; a son, Wendell Green of Tifton; and sisters, Estelle Walker of<br />

Scooterville, <strong>My</strong>rtle Williams of Moultrie, Lavera Hobby of Brunswick and Jean Cross and<br />

Idola McCawley, both of Sylvester. Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home is in charge of<br />

Annis P. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

80, of Goleta, Calif., former Wichitan, retired Stearman Aircraft Products Corp. office<br />

employee, former deputy tax assessor for Los Angeles County, died Tuesday, August 30,<br />

1985. Service was held Friday, Trinity Lutheran Church, Santa Barbara. Survivors:<br />

daughters, Ruth Ann Phillips of Elgin, Texas, Sally Howell of Goleta; brothers, Ralph<br />

Strickland of Wichita, John Strickland of Houston; sisters, Coral Stearman of Valley<br />

Center, Esther Lunsford of Bourbonnais, Ill., Sadie Ahlemeier of Tulsa, Andora Snell of<br />

Garden City, Lorraine Lindsay of Phoenix; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.<br />

Memorial has been established with City of Hope, Los Angeles. McDermott Crockett<br />

Mortuary, Santa Barbara.<br />

Annie <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Oct 28, 1922 - Atlanta Constitution- Mrs. Annie <strong>Gunn</strong>, 32 of 235 Lindsay Street, died<br />

Tuesday monring at a private hospital. She was the Wife of marvin <strong>Gunn</strong>, and besides her<br />

husband is survived by one daughter, Miss Lola <strong>Gunn</strong>; her mother, Mrs. Sena Darnell, two<br />

brother, Claude Ward of the USN and Ormond Ward of Atlanta, and three sisters; Mrs.<br />

Lossie Darnell, Mrs Mattie Catlett and Mrs. Dora Mote. T. C. Bazemore in charge.<br />

Annie Cloud <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Word was received her last night, April 13, 1946 of the death of Mrs. Annie <strong>Gunn</strong>, sister of<br />

harry Cloud in Vicksburg, Miss. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> died yesterday afternoon and Cloud left<br />

immediately for Vicksburg. Funeral services will be held there sometime Monday. Mrs.<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> was a frequent visitor to Baton Rouge and was well known among Cloud’s friends.
