Maude Virginia <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

83 died last night April 17, 1962 at her home in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born Aug. 17,<br />

1878, at Plummerville, daughter of James L. and Julia Autre Duggar. She was a member of<br />

Oakland Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, W. I. <strong>Gunn</strong> one daughter, Mrs.<br />

Gladys Snow of Fayetteville; one brother, J. T Duggar of Fayetteville; one sister , Mrs. Nettie<br />

Davidson Springdale; and two grandchildren Services will be held at p.m. Thursday at the<br />

Oakland Baplist Church with burial in Farmington Cemetery under the direction of Moore's<br />

Chapel.<br />

Maudell <strong>Gunn</strong> -FITZGERALD - Maudell <strong>Gunn</strong>, 86, died Saturday, May 19, 2007 in Macon,<br />

Georgia.. Funeral services will be held 2P.M. Monday in Paulk Funeral Home Chapel. -<br />

Survivors: children, Barbara Ann Shipes, Mary (Bobby) Ross, James (Betty) <strong>Gunn</strong>; 11<br />

grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; brother, E.J. Fender. -Visitation 7:00 to 9:00<br />

Maudell <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

86, of Fitzgerald died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald.<br />

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, May 21 in the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel.<br />

Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery. Rusty Johnson, Jimmy <strong>New</strong>ell, Bud Johnson,<br />

Mike McCranie, Robert Brooks and Wendell Marchant served as pallbearers. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

was born October 13, 1920 in Berrien County, Ga., to the late Ike and Amanda Fender. She<br />

was a homemaker and a member of the Glory United Methodist Church in Berrien County.<br />

She lived in the community for the past 12 years, coming from Berrien County where she<br />

spent most of her life. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> is survived by her children and their spouses: Barbara Ann<br />

Shipes and Mary and Bobby Ross, all of Fitzgerald and James and Betty <strong>Gunn</strong> of Lenox; 11<br />

grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and one brother: E.J. Fender of Ocilla. She was<br />

preceded in death by her husbands: Otis Stephens and James W.R. <strong>Gunn</strong>; one daughter:<br />

Carolyn Jacobs; one son: Billy Stephens and two sisters: Ava Nell McGee and Dona Mae<br />

Brooks. Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements<br />

Maude Ella <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

died at 5 o'clock this morning August 15, 1913, at her mother's home, 65 Portland Street,<br />

Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin from what is believed to be heart failure. Miss <strong>Gunn</strong> went to see a<br />

physician Weliiesday and was advised of the danger she was in, her heart then being in a<br />

diseased condition. During the night she had great difficulty in breathing, and suffered<br />

intensely because of her inability to obtain air.In a smothering spell she died at 5 o'clock this
