119, died Thursday, July 8, 2004 at Danville Regional Medical Center. Born July 13, 1949,<br />

he was the son of Lou Henderson <strong>Gunn</strong> and the late Bernard <strong>Gunn</strong> Sr. He was of the<br />

Baptist faith. In addition to his mother, of Pelham, he is survived by one son, Darnell Lea<br />

of Yanceyville; one brother, Larry <strong>Gunn</strong> of Providence; and three sisters, Ponoca Louise<br />

McCain of Providence, Shirley <strong>Gunn</strong> of Pelham, and Pamela Jordon of Greensboro. The<br />

funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at Fulton Funeral Home Chapel with<br />

the Rev. Everett Dickerson officiating. Interment will be in the Blackwell Baptist Church<br />

Cemetery. The body may be viewed Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Fulton Funeral Home<br />

Chapel. The family will be at the residence of his mother, 1102 Henderson Road, Pelham.<br />

Bernard (Rudy) <strong>Gunn</strong>,<br />

69, of Richmond, died Friday, March 3, 2000. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Garrett<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong>; four daughters, Elaine <strong>Gunn</strong>, Kim Earle and her husband, Tommy Earle, Terry G.<br />

Chaney and her husband, Ronald B. Chaney Jr., Lisa G. Thomas and her husband,<br />

Michael S. Thomas; four grandsons, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter and two<br />

adopted granddaughters, one niece and two nephews. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was a retired employee of<br />

A. H. Robins, a volunteer fire fighter for Henrico County, a U. S. Marine Corps veteran<br />

and a scout leader with the Boy Scouts Troop #554. Remains rest at the Nelson Funeral<br />

Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.,<br />

Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, and where funeral services will be held 5 p.m. Sunday.<br />

Bernard William <strong>Gunn</strong> died Feb 8, 1990 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was fourth generation<br />

Irish in America born in Cincinnati, Ohio, February 11, 1916 to William Michael <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

(1891-1956)and Laura Mary, nee Moore (1896-1959). He has a Sister Miriam born 1918, a<br />

brother William Joseph, (1920-1982) and a non-surviving sister Alexis (1932). He is<br />

survived by his wife, Evelyn Nina Reider <strong>Gunn</strong>, sons Michael Bernard (Nov 1939), Dennis<br />

Arthur (1941) and daughter Kathleen Marie (1943)
