Died April 12, 2008 - Pearl Teague <strong>Gunn</strong>, 54, of Demorest, Georgia, died Saturday. Funeral<br />

Pearl Teague <strong>Gunn</strong>, 54, of Demorest, died Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Emory University<br />

Hospital, following an extended illness. Born in Union County on October 30, 1953, she was<br />

the daughter of the late Tom and Mary Linda Tow Teague. She was employed with Ethicon<br />

with 30 years of dedicated service, and was a member of The Torch and a volunteer with<br />

Operation Care. She also enjoyed golf, attending church and serving God, loved ones stated.<br />

Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was preceded in death by her husband, William <strong>Gunn</strong>; and brothers, Jack, Loy<br />

and Earl Teague. Survivors include a son, Douglas James <strong>Gunn</strong>, Baldwin; brothers, Lewis<br />

Teague, Cleveland, Edward Teague, Carnesville, Jerry Teague, Jefferson; sisters, Grapell<br />

Harkins, Blairsville, Lula Bell Davis and Shirley Adams, both of Dahlonega, Geneva Nix,<br />

Cleveland; grandchildren, April <strong>Gunn</strong>, Nathan <strong>Gunn</strong>, Shelby <strong>Gunn</strong>, Levi <strong>Gunn</strong>; and<br />

numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 15, at The Torch<br />

with the Revs. James Franklin, Ronald Wilson, and Pastor Mike Franklin officiating. Burial<br />

was in the Demorest City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Operation<br />

Care, 800 Cannon Bridge Rd., Cornelia, Ga. 30531. McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral<br />

Penson Edwin <strong>Gunn</strong>, Jr.<br />

90 of Forest, Mississippi died on Thursday August 9, 2012 at University Medical Center in<br />

Jackson. Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Sunday August 12, at the funeral home with<br />

burial in the Ridge Baptist Church in Forest. Ott and Lee Funeral home was in charge. Mr.<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> was a lifelong resident of Forest, and was the son of Penson E., Sr., and Jessie<br />

Gomillion <strong>Gunn</strong>. He was married to Mary Yvonne Green <strong>Gunn</strong>. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> enjoyed the<br />

outsdoors and working on his farm. He was a member of the Ridge Baptist Church where he<br />

served as deacon. He was a proud member on the U. S. Army. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> loved his family<br />

and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved<br />

and knew him. Mr. <strong>Gunn</strong> was preceded in death by his parent, Penson Edwin <strong>Gunn</strong>, Sr. &<br />

Jessie Gomillion <strong>Gunn</strong>. He is survived by his wife, Mary Yvonne <strong>Gunn</strong>, son Mark E.<br />

(Sherry) <strong>Gunn</strong>; daughter Janie (Erbert, Jr) Gomillion; a grandson, Chris Comillion; and<br />

many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Wednesday August 15, 2012, Scott County<br />

Peg Lawrence <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Menlo Park"s first female Mayor and the former Head of the Menlo Park Fire Protection<br />

District Board, passed away peacefully Sunday night, February 13 at Villa Siena. A longtime<br />

Menlo Park resident, she joins her husband, Jack <strong>Gunn</strong> and her loving parents, Bridget<br />

O"Rourke Lawrence and Richard A. Lawrence. Mrs. <strong>Gunn</strong> was born September 21, 1917 In
