Winn Parish. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Mt. Zion Methodist<br />

Church in Montgomery with the Rev. George McVay officiating. Burial was in the church<br />

cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. He is survived by one<br />

son, William Jeffery <strong>Gunn</strong>, and one daughter, Jane <strong>Gunn</strong>, both of Phoenix, Ariz.; his mother,<br />

Mrs. Jessie <strong>Gunn</strong> of Montgomery; two brothers, James J. <strong>Gunn</strong> of Brookhaven, Penn., and<br />

Merl <strong>Gunn</strong> of Montgomery. (George and Margaret Morrison <strong>Gunn</strong> desc)<br />

William Joseph <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

William Joseph “Joey” <strong>Gunn</strong> died on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at age 50 in Pacifica, Calif.<br />

Born in Vicksburg, Joey was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Billy Joe <strong>Gunn</strong>. He was a<br />

graduate of the University of Mississippi and a lifelong Ole Miss fan wherever he lived. After<br />

a successful career in marketing and advertising, he was enjoying his role as a father. He is<br />

survived by two sons, Zachary Joseph and Joshua Pryor. He also is survived by a sister,<br />

Susan Harris (Joe); nephews, Jeff and Luke; and niece, Suzanne Tuck, all of Memphis, Tenn.<br />

Arrangements are incomplete with Chapel by the Sea in Pacifica in charge.<br />

William M. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

a resident of Dallas forty five years, died Saturday at his home, 3904 Euclid in Dallas. He was<br />

in the cotton business many years but reitred nineteen years ago. Surviving are his wife Janet<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> and a sister, Mrs. Homer Starke of Dallas. Publish Dallas Morning <strong>New</strong>s, 11-15-1936<br />

William L. <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

Funeral services for William L. <strong>Gunn</strong>, 65, of 1524 Monte Carlo, Dallas, Tx., who dedicated his<br />

life to fatherless boys, a driector of Big Brothers of Metropolitan Dallas, will be held at 10 am<br />

Thursday in the Lamar and Smith Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Pueblo, Colorado.He<br />

born born in Pueblo, Colorado, attended the YMCA College in Chicago. He earned his B. A.<br />

Degree at George Williams College and his MA degree in educational administration at the<br />

University of Chicago. He began his career with the young in the 1920's as intrmural coast at<br />

the Univ. Of Chicago Laboratory School. Survivors include his wife Erna, one daughter, one<br />

William LaRoy <strong>Gunn</strong><br />

YANCEYVILLE - William Laroy <strong>Gunn</strong>, 73, died Friday at Duke Medical Center, Durham.<br />

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Yanceyville United Methodist Church, where he was a<br />

member. Masonic graveside rites will be in the church cemetery. He was a retired<br />

superintendent of Yanceyville Water Works, a member and past master of Caswell Masonic<br />

Brotherhood Lodge 11 and a member and a past president of Yanceyville Rotary Club and a<br />

member of Paul Harris Award. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Foster <strong>Gunn</strong>; son, William<br />

<strong>Gunn</strong> of Danville, Va.; daughter, Mrs. Nancy Bush of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother, Henry <strong>Gunn</strong> of<br />

Yanceyville; five grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the church building fund. The<br />

family will be at the home. Hooper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Greensboro<br />
